It has been a couple of weeks now and I am enjoying these shoes. I feel much more stable while doing squats, dead lifts, etc. I would definitely recommend these shoes for someone looking to upgrade from regular trainers
A great value for the price and they do the job as described. If you are looking for an affordable squatting shoe, this would be it. My shoe size is a 9.5 US and the 9.5 in these had the correct length but it was a bit loose on the width. If I were to choose again, size 9 would be ideal in these. In the mean time, I will be tightening the laces and I won't be jumping in them. I also have the adiPowers and I prefer these but purely for aesthetic reasons. With the adiPowers, the 9.5 fit perfectly for me.
My training has focused on the Big Lifts (Deadlift, Squats) and hope to eventually get into Olympic exercises once skill and strength allow! Picked up these shoes as part of the arsenal and couldn't be happier. During all squat variations (front, split, back) my feet are planted like granite and my confidence and work rate have skyrocketed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to up their Big Lifts!
I was sceptical at first about buying these expensive shows, however these are very well made and hopefully will last a lifetime. Fits perfectly, my feet are wide at the top but it still fits fine with no discomfort. Made a huge difference in terms of flexibility and allowing me to lift without bending back. Holds the ground solid which allows you to lift more weight. Well worth the investment.
Your Raggmo Flip-Flops are great. The pattern design on the top is both comfortable and practical. By practical, I mean that the design reduces the chance of my foot slipping across the top of the pad when wet. This was proven out when I was on the beach last weekend. In the past, I have 'blown out' a couple of flip-flops as my foot slid off the side of the sandal when wet.
These are great looking sandals and comfortable, too. But I have to echo what others have been saying: They're way too big. I'm a ten but should have ordered a nine. I will be exchanging or returning them.
I sometimes struggle to get good fitting footwear having slim feet, I like that most of laces are separate to the sock like upper meaning I can tighten them that little extra without distorting the shoe. I use these for multiple activities at the gym and fitness classes and they give me great stability and are super comfortable to wear every time.
Light weight trainers great for general gym wear. I use them for cardio workout and weight training. Great for squats as they are quite flat. Also used them to play squash and are great as they grip the floor well. True to size bought size 8. Only issue is getting your feet in is a bit tight so you will need loosen the lace quite a bit. Once your feet are in its a nice snug fit.
I use these shoes for training for boxing, sometimes with ankle wraps or compression socks. They are the best single all-purpose training shoe I've found for that purpose. The rubber of the sole is low-profile and firm so it doesn't fold when moving side to side; the sole wraps up onto the shoes through the middle for more stability; there is a low profile tread and the forward part of the sole flexes a great deal--all of this is ideal for bending and pivoting characteristic of boxing footwork. The heel is solid and keeps ankle in place, the upper fits like a sock. I can do shorter distance jogging (several kms), sprints, speed rope, etc. in them just as well as any boxing-specific training. I run longer distances in dedicated running shoes and wear Adidas box hogs in the ring as necessity dictates. Suffice to say 65-75% of all my training is in the Adipures. I usually wear a 9.5US in Adidas running shoes, as I like a roomier fit, but for stability in a variety of multi-directional movements I wear a slightly snugger 9US in these shoes--I have a wide foot so the expanding nature of the sock-like upper accommodates for that. They also seem maybe a 1/4 size longer in length than most Adidas. (Note: these 360.3 Adipures have a diamond pattern tread on the bottom which allows for better grip on turf and such surfaces than the previous 360.2 model. I preferred the old tread pattern for boxing but that is for my specific needs; this newer tread is probably more useful in general.)
I bought these shoes for leg workouts and they did not disappoint. Well made and a great fit. They help provide a stable base for squats and other leg exercises. Try them for yourself and you will not regret your purchase.
i bought this shoe because i wanted a stylish, lightweight shoe that was good for the gym and could be versatile when involved in physical activities. so far i have only used it in the gym and it's been great! gotten many compliments on the looks too. i play volleyball and expect this shoe to be great for all round movement and will keep me safe and secure. highly recommend. only thing; it doesn't really show on the images but on the lateral side of the shoe the midsole comes out quite a bit.
Just like all the other reviews these are a solid pair of shoes, I hover between size 8 and 8.5 so I got 8 and they were slightly too small, but it definitely helped my squat regardless, they're well made, etc...
I bought these to replace a pair with the "clear" nubs that start to break and fall off after about a year. I hope these black nubs will be a little more durable. I love to wear these unique slides because of the massage feature of the "nubs". Please continue to make these forever. These are great after a work out or even for everyday around the house.
I was advised to order a half size down to get a really snug but comfortable fit. They fit very well. The stability in these shoes is amazing. Hit a new PR on my squats the first leg day that I used these shoes. They look awesome. I really like the velcro strap for metatarsal support. The raised heel makes deadlifting in them a little awkward. Still doable though.
I have been looking at buying a pair of lifting shoes for quite awhile. These were on sale so I pulled the trigger. After lifting in Five Fingers, these will take getting use to because of the slight heel lift. Have put them through a few workouts and can say I should have purchased these sooner. Made a big difference in the feel on squats and deadlifts. Sizing was just a little big, but a better sock will help that. Overall very satisfied
I notice some people find these painful, which was my experience when first putting them on. However when you break them in (& the nubs soften) they become the most comfortable things you own & leave your feet feeling really nice. I wear these to the beach or take them swimming as they can handle all the sea and hot sand you throw at them without becoming nasty.
So pleased with how fast I received these trainers. They are perfect for the lifting element in the crossfit classes that I take. Light on your feet yet supportive in the right places. I will be definatly be recommending them to my clients.
This is a very comfortable pair of shoes, very light and made like specially for me! I like them a lot and I strongly recommend them to anyone that needs light sport shoes for training or just walking.
I have worn adidas toe shoes almost every day for 4 years (love these shoes) as they fit, literally, like gloves but cannot find new ones. So I have been looking for a good shoe that is wide fitting and lets the foot move naturaly. These shoes do just that! They are as close to toe shoes as I have found with the added benfit of cushioning. I now have 2 pairs as my go to day shoes. These shoes feel like your feet can do what they evolved to do whilst being protected from the hard surfaces that they now have to contend with. Awesome combination!
MAN I just love these slides since each step I toke with them on feels like I'm wearing pillows on my feet and I hate to take them off since they are SO COMFORTABLE A++++ keep up the good work Adidas.
I absolutely love these slides. I've had mine for over a year now, my husband and I both have a pair. I love the look and the comfort is awesome. I'd like an arch support because my feet have gotten bad recently in the past couple of months but as for the shoes themselves, they clean up easy, they don't lose their velcro hold like alot if velcro does. We wear them everywhere! In the garden at the beach or fairs and fests and even a casual night out. They go with anything. I want a new pair but don't need them yet and mine get year round use.
These shoes are of exceptional quality. Very solid, secure grip. They run a little narrow. If you are weightlifting (clean-and-jerk, snatch), these shoes are great. They have just the right amount of lift in the heel. However, for powerlifting, most of us require a flat heel. I implore Adidas to made a powerlifting version of this shoe. Just make the heel flat - no rise. It would easily be the premier powerlifting shoe on the market! And, that's a huge market. There are many more powerlifters than Olympic weightlifters.
The shoe is lightweight and so far seems to be durable with everyday use! Whether its weight training, circuits, variety of sports this shoe does the job. I love the low heel, personally I like to be as close to the floor as I can. The style is great to, definitely thinking of getting the same shoe in Black.
I've had the adiPower for a couple months now. They arrived snug and broke-in perfectly within a couple workouts as one would expect. Comfortable. My feet feel planted, solid, and secure on squats, deadlift, powerclean, and press. Good construction, breathable. Reminder: design is for weightlifting during which these excel. I would not want to engage any cross-functional training or running or anything else, not even a long walk home. And with such focused purpose, I am getting a return on my investment in these shoes.
These shoes are incredible. I have no issues hitting depth in flat shoes, but these make a world of difference. I feel insanely stable, and the strap locks me in securely. I love these for front squats especially. I recommend them to everyone I know who lifts weights. I usually float between an 11.5 and a 12, and I opted to go for the smaller size - which was the perfect choice. They feel tight, but not uncomfortable.
