micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
No break in, straight out the box the fit is great, feel really light good room in the toe box.hoping the durability is as i expect from Adidas. Arch feels very supported very stable moving lateral looking forward to some court time with these. Great colours very vibrant,
This is my second pair of barricades. Took a while to get used to the extra heel support but soon appreciated the cushioning especially when decelerating. Very hardware wearing also. Previous shoes have worn out after less than 6 months. I only bought these because they were reduced- the previous ones would still be going strong after 14 months of hard use. Note- you need to buy a half size bigger than your normal shoe size.
Love these tennis shoes. They are so lightweight & comfortable. And they look great. All the tennis coaches at my club are so impressed - and jealous! I regularly play on carpet & indoor acrylic and they are perfect for both. I also play on clay, AstroTurf & shale and again they are perfect for all these surfaces. Although I have yet to play on grass in this particular pair, I have played ingress in other pairs of Adizero unersonics. Again, they are perfect. This proving to be a tennis shoe perfect for ALL surfaces.
A year ago I purchased rocket boost shoes for winter, and as my review then reflected i was dissapointed in some of the design features and choices, this year adidas has made significant improvements to the quality and balance and materials of this winter runner shoe. I love it. Water resistant, warm, good balance of boost material and improved upper, comfort and texture are comfortable and rugged for the season. Great.
I've had the Barricade 8, 8+, 2015 and now the 2015 boost. I loved the 2015 barricades - the most comfortable barricades I've worn until the 2015 boost!! I felt lighter on my feet and there was no break in time. I highly recommend these shoes!
A stable and confidence building shoe that rewards effort with energetic rebound. Exterior double toe reinforcement helps with longevity, while gripping interior heel liner ensures socks stay in place. Great progression in the Barricade lineage!
The new barricade 9 builds on the previous shoes and is back to its best. Great uppers really lace up tight. The sole and support are excellent as usual. I would still like to see a sole similar to the Novak Pro shoes, but otherwise a great tennis shoe.
Did not think I would like the lacing system/tongue but am a big fan. 10 miler out of box very comfortable at Red Rocks outside of Vegas. 25K race the next a.m. and they protected from sharp rocks a nd offered good traction in desert and on boulders. Athletic fit on my narrow feet made downhill in canyons easy. I have worn Adidas Energy Boost and Boston Boost for last 2 marathons so the comfort did not surprise me. I wanted to go traditional trail manuf like Salomon, Hoka but they could not match comfort and fit. Go 1/2 size up like the Boost road shoes.
I have to say the craft of my pair of shoes is not good. It's obvious that there are some differences between my right one and left one which focus on the forefoot part. If I have to pay in this price I prefer the teamshoes like Crazyquick 3.
Initially I loved this shoe I felt planted to the ground and moved extremely well on the court. It was almost my favorite shoe of all time. However... My knees really started to hurt after a few sessions on the court. I'm 35 years old and still play very hard but I wish I had younger knees so I could give this shoe 5 stars.
I have bad feet, and it's hard to find any shoes I can walk around in, without my feet aching at night. I've always gone with Nike air max, which has a firmer feel.they work fine at first, but the air souls seem to break down rather quickly. These shoes are incredibly comfortable. By far the softest ride I've ever seen. They fit me perfectly, unlike the ultra boost, that are just a little too tight. I can walk around all day, with no problems later. I'm going to order another pair in white.
Last year, I copped a pair of D Rose 5 Chicago Ice, first woven version, and it was great. The design is simple and clean. Comfort, amazing. I went 10.5 though my feet are 10. Then last week, checked a pair of Lillard 1 on one of adidas' outlet stores here, outlet or factory stores are fine by the way, tried and compared Lillard's Made in March and Weber State sizes 10 and 10.5, then came into conclusion that I'll go with size 10 on Lillard's. Now that the Ballin Deads are here, I'll skip Drose 6 for the time being because Im waiting, if ever, for the Chicago Ice version of Drose 6, I'll surely buy Lillard's Halloween shoes next week because they are super dope! Great concept, you all at adidas. Keep it up.
I'm a college student and athlete and I'm always on my feet. Whether it's walking to class, working out in the gym, or going for a run, these shoes are great. I especially love running in them, It just feels incredible. They shipped really quick, which I love! I wear size 12 in other brands and 12 fit really well for me with these, so stay true to size. If you're thinking about buying them, do it! These shoes are well worth it in my opinion. The material of the shoe is very high quality and I don't think you'll be disappointed. They are durable and dirt doesn't really show on the shoe too much. I got the all black version and they look great with anything. Over all, Adidas did something amazing when they made these.
I picked these shoes up for just $55.99. This was a steal consider they were a $100. These shoes are great for running and they simply feel great. This is the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I use these shoes for track and they are great for that. So all in all I recommend this shoe very much and you won't regret buying them
I love the support and comfort these shoes provide. Initially I preferred these shoes to all previous purchases. However, I am disappointed by the lack of durability in the sole of the shoe. I have owned these for less than two months and for the past week and a half the sole has been worn through on my primary foot. I play tennis 10-12 hrs a week on hard courts. I guess if you play even half as frequently as that you would be better served by the Barricade shoes which are guaranteed for 6 months.
Fantastic shoe which solved long lasting achilles tendinitis issues. Perfect if you are looking for a soft and non-structured shoe to use on grass or paths. Water resistance is satisfactory and I have had no issue with water ingress.
I purchased these shoes for running. I just finished the C25K and needed a good looking, light shoe to make it easier to move on to the 10K app and this shoe is it!! I purchased the all black pair and absolutely love them, super lightweight and look good even when I'm not running. Buy them, you will not regret it.
These are a great pair of Slides, very comfortable. I should have listened to others when reading the previous reviews. The slides do run large. I am normally a size 10 and these fit like an eleven. So do order a size down from what you normally get.
I am not an athletic person, I do try to keep fit. These are my first Boost series shoes and I am never going back to anything else. The fit is fantastic, the grip on the road perfect, the feedback you get on your sole is surprising.
Really in love with the design and color scheme. These are really comfortable and have a certain mystique because it looks great for casual or for running purposes. I am starting to dig the boost technology. Hire me Adidas? Would love to work at adidas
When I first threw the shoe on it was a little tight on my forefoot but I have fat feet so I wasn't too worried about it. Once I was on the trails I didn't notice the width at all. I took the Raven out to the Appalachian Trail in North Georgia and the shoes performed beautifully! Even during a heavy rainstorm I never doubted my foot placement. There was one section of the trail where I had to cross a large, open, expense of off-camber rock and the shoe didn't slip at all. Definitely worth a go in this bad boy. I don't know if anyone reading this has run in other boosted shoes but it almost felt like having the cushion of an Ultra Boost in the heel and the responsiveness of the Boston Boost in the forefoot... sorry I'm kind of a running geek.
I think these are great running trainers for winter, or even just to move around. The sole is incredibly soft and you feel like you are walking on wool. I have worn them in this relatively warm weather and it might keep you feet a bit too warm but for winter time they are perfect.
Comfortable sneaker, however after owning them for appropriately 2 months now, I have noticed that my right foot has become a little more sore than usual. However, when I rock a different basketball pair the minor pain isn't present afterwards. Keep in mind I am an active athlete when it comes to local basketball leagues. I also play basketball at open gyms 3-5 days a week for 2+ hours. I think this shoe is better as a lifestyle shoe, however if you purchase a pair primarily for basketball, select the crazy light boost 2015. Adidas is STILL my #1 brand though!
I have been Yonex tennis shoes fan for sometime, but i got to try Adidas Boost Tennis shoes. It' been 4 weeks now, and these shoes have been amazing. Immediately, the difference in bounce in the stride was evident, improving the movement on the court right away. For a 45 year guy, the wear and tear on the court can take its toll, but this shoe does seem to be cut above the rest. Five stars for the shoes till now! I will update on the durability, a couple of months down the line.
These are great looking sandals and comfortable, too. But I have to echo what others have been saying: They're way too big. I'm a ten but should have ordered a nine. I will be exchanging or returning them.
