My son plays varsity football and had his first game the other night and had a phenominal game at middle line backer. After the game I told him he was on fire tonight! He said it was because of his new Adidas cleats because they felt so light on his feet. He also said "I was ballin' tonight Dad". Thanks Adidas for making a great set cleats.
I purchased these cleats for my son and not only does he stand out on the field, he says that he can the support which enables him to go faster, do better lateral moves and be a better more dominant player.
Normally I rave about adidas. They are my go-to brand for shoes. Every show I own is adidas because they are simply comfortable. I also have a pair of older slides that are wearing out so I looked around and saw these. I figured I give them a shot. I purchased two pairs. One in blue and one in black. It is the worst experience. These nubs hurt!! I was excited to get them so I wore them to the supermarket. I was in total pain for 40 minutes. My legs began to feel numb. I couldn't wait to get to the car. I read reviews that said wear socks. So I did, and of course they feel ok. Who's bright idea was it to have nubs? They are not comfortable at all. I'm really disappointed with this purchase and bummed out because I love adidas. I feel let down by the brand. Buyer beware with these.
This shoe is interesting. It looks great in pictures but in reality, the material on the toe box - that reverse-studded neoprene - looks cheap in person. This shoe's sole is very comfortable BUT it is a bit narrow for a size 9 (what I normally wear). It also has terrible breathability. Upon closer inspection, some of the the dimples on the polyester are actual perforations but the majority are not. This shoe becomes an oven very quickly. The material on the back of the shoe (the white) is very nice. Overall, shoe is disappointing since it looks and feels worse than what I'd expect from adidas.
I got these for my upcoming Cross Country season. My previous trainers were the Adidas Energy Boosts 2. These supernovas are pretty similar to the energy boosts, but I think that I like them a little bit more. First of all i think that these are a bit more durable and have better traction. I have had them for about two weeks and have ran a 10 mile race in them, they are very comfortable and have not given me any problems so far. The only thing I don't like about this shoe is that it is a little heavy.
I love how comfortable these shoes are, they felt like I have some them for years and are perfectly pre broke in, unfortunately, they were just that, broke. The rubber on the soles separated from the soles not even 2 weeks after I bought them. But they were so comfy I didn't send them back well here I am 5 weeks in to wearing them and now the some is snaggi,g carpet and the other shoe is doing the same thing.
My son plays football and wears a size 16 cleat, so I purchased the size 17 slide and he loves them! He has even a little growing room! Imagine that, thank you Adidas for accommodating even the hardest to find sizes and this slide was even affordable.
Very comfortable shoes. I had worn out shoes before so I decided to buy these and I didn't really have to break them in. Just put on these shoes and run! On my first run(on a track) they felt great. It gave my legs great support. The quality of the shoe is my favourite thing. I can just hold this shoes in front of me and be in awe of it. I also like to wear Adidas socks with these shoes, it makes everything far more perfect being geared up with Adidas. #allin #firstneverfollows
Got these kicks in the Andrew Wiggins Timberwolves home colorway at footlocker for $80. It was perfect in my opinion. The boost in the heel was very comfortable and the adiprene+ was decent as well to give enough cushioning to feel comfortable wearing them for hours on end but not sacrificing court feel. The primeknit upper and mesh lower is also top quality. The traction is excellent and you stop very hard and don't have to wipe too much. Just don't take these outside. The only problem that you may encounter is the fit and lockdown. The fit feels a little uncomfortable when you first play in these, but after a few days you get used to it. You just don't feel as locked down and secure as other shoes, but it's not the worst lockdown I've had in a shoe. It just didn't match the high grade of the other aspects of this crazylight model. Overall, these are a solid shoe to hoop in and you should definitely try them out.
The first couple times out these babies have really performed. besides a little blood on the achilles (what cleats dont need to be broken in?) these things are great. great action into the ground and great transfer. My last cleat was the Adizero first generation, and they lasted me 4.5 years. here's to hoping these take after their great-great-great-great ancestors.
I love everything about this shoe. The cushioning is amazingly comfortable. My toes aren't constricted and my heel is held properly. The Continental tread should be durable. I tried a couple of other Boost models before finding this great shoe.
Narrow fit but comfortable stride. I usually wear a 9.5 US in Adidas Originals but my Ultra boost were a bit too big in 9.5 so I chose 9 in these but they were pretty tight and my toe was too close for comfort to the tip of shoe. I have returned them for a 9.5 and fit is much better. They synthetic materials look cool juxtaposed together. I am going to do some HIT workouts and see how they stand up.
The sole of the shoe is made up of many rubber spikes separated by perhaps 2 - 5 mm and are somewhat stiff. Maybe I have tender feet, but after wearing these for only a few minutes they left my feet feeling raw. I have worn them off and on for a few weeks and I guess my feet are toughening up a bit and they are not quite so bad as they were at first. But, I would not purchase them again nor recommend them.
I was beyond excited when I saw these! So I showed my supports and made the purchase. The colors on the shoes in person are very vivid. They look exactly like the picture and the quality of the shoe is no different then any other superstar. They fit great and I get compliments out and about with them. I bought the entire set and it's compliments everything well.
First, the shoe is a great combination of cushion and response. The transition is seamless between foot plant and toe-off. Second, the upper is very comfortable. While the forefoot is a little narrow for me there are no friction points because the material works with the foot and is very forgiving. Great shoe, wish Adidas had a trail version.
This shoe is perfect for me. I hope Adidas continues to make this shoe without changing much. The last shoe I used was a different brand and was way too cushy and soft and actually ended up causing foot and ankle pain. I switched to the Supernova Glide Boost 8 based on a recommendation and couldn't be happier. I've been running with this shoe for a couple months now. The shoe is supportive, comfortable, and still manages to be responsive. The Boost material is phenomenal. I highly recommend this shoe.
The plastic on the back heel portion rubs on my heel causing blisters & holes in my socks. Not sure if I have a defected pair or not, but the plastic heel portions feel about the same. the problem only happens in that one area of the shoe. Climacools are known to have very high ventilation but wear them they feel like every other running shoe that I have worn. I've wanted these shoes for a while while because they look cool & been wanting to try them for a long time, but I have been let down so far.
I saw these online last month for Pride & being a member of the LGBTQ community, I thought this was awesome of Adidas to support us. I instantly fell in love. My color choice was perfect. The colors stand out with the all black. Haven't worn them yet. Saving them for White party here in Miami
The Adidas Superstar II has a lot of very good points. However, some may think that they are a bit toned down in terms of style. Here’s the advice: if you’re looking for a good pair of casual shoes that goes best with your jeans, khakis, and shorts, these are going to be the best choice for you.
I really love these shoes! They are very comfortable a little big so if you have a smaller or thinner foot go half size down but they feel good to me because I have wide feet. I get tons of compliments when I wear them. colors pop much more in person too.
I'm a size 5.5 in women's superstars and ordered a 4.5 in men's. Fits wonderfully! Colors are really unique and vibrant. So glad I got the white with black stripes before it ran out of small sizes. Love love love and will be rocking these kicks the whole pride month!
