I bought these for summer use - I like to run cross-country, but running through long grass quickly turns my legs into an itchy rash, which spoils the fun. These solve the problem pretty well - stings and brambles might get through, but those were never the problem I was trying to solve. Out of the box, these will look way too small, and I found that I needed to unzip the handy ankle zips to get them on. I'm not used to wearing tights, so the feel was odd at first. But a few stretches and kicks soon proved they fitted OK (Large size for me at 6 foot 2 with a 33 inch inside leg). A seam runs waistband to crotch, so expect to wear underwear under these, in case you were wondering. Once on I've found them comfortable, and not too hot, in English summer conditions at least.
A very neat fit for running and training in. The tapered fits well above the shoes. I found the zips at the bottom of the leg useful as, unlike other tracksuit bottoms, allowed me to easily take the tracksuit bottoms off over the shoes. One issue was that the main side pockets lacked zips and depth so items can fall out fairly easily. Although the back pocket contains a zip this is only large enough for a bank card at most. Nevertheless a very good product.
Overall these were a great pair of running tights for the winter. Im running a fair few miles at the minute preparing for the marathon and have to say i have found these tights very supportive for my legs more so that the 3/4s adidas tights that i have been using. You really do notice the difference. Definitely keeps you feeling warm in the winter without feeling too hot or sweaty. One negative on the outside by the knee there is a little bit of stitching, very thick and hard. That will rub on the side of your knee and can become sore. Otherwise these are great and a margin for the price.
Bought this as wanted a lightweight jacket - was concurs that I didn't want something that would make me too hot when out and about running. So far so good. Great shower and windproof - haven't tested it in really bad weather yet but sure it'd cope fairly well. The small pocket on the side is great for keys, and an addition I'd not expected / missed in the spec.
This jacket looks good and fits well , the jacket is very light but keeps me warm enough when playing football outside without getting too hot , the only problem I have is with the jackets zip it keeps getting stuck when pulling up or down , this apart I am very happy with the jacket
Really pleased with the purchase of this Adidas running jacket. It is very light and very comfortable to wear and train in. I liked the discreet thumbhole cuffs and the position of the zipped pocket. The jacket is made of quality material and well constructed. The reflective detail is a nice touch. I would highly recommend to others.
I love these tights! I bought a pair for trail running in the cold (20-45deg) and they worked great! They kept me warm without being hot, and they are super comfy. After running in my first pair I had to get two more so I could trail run all week. I've used them on cool days, rain, and light snow doing the hills above Portland, no complaints!
This is really what I was looking for. Very light jacket and ideal for windy and cold days. The climastorm system is amazing! Now I can go on with my running training even with the worst weather. Definitely, I would recommend this product.
Been wanting a pair of these for a while now. Running in the cold weather is now a lot more fun as these really keep you warm. They are a perfect fit for me too at 6 foot 2. Would definitely recommend these
i don't like when i fall face first at the end of a 65 minute run, on a concrete sidewalk, tripping on a rut, in front of a bunch of a drivers finishing up rush hour. but sometimes i do. i go straight down once a year these days, maybe. i land on one of my knees and one of my hands. it doesn't feel good. in cold weather i wear running pants or tights. they have always gotten a hole in the contact knee when this happens. except since i switched to adidas. so tonight, i decided i would write a review to say how i was afraid to look after my fall to see what damage i did to your very nice and expensive cold weather tights. i brushed my good hand (after the fall) against my knee to check the damage without looking...and felt nothing. so i looked. i was astounded to see no damage. there would turn out to be a nice abrasion not just on my hand, but on my knee where i hit...but NO damage to the pants...the softness of which prevented damage to my knee skin from equaling that of my hand. when i finished my run i checked again. nope. no damage to your amazing pants/tights, which were NOT advertised as 'indestructos', but rather simply light, well-fitting and WARM. all of which they are, including a zip key pocket, and zip ankles. i would think a motorcycle leather jacket would receive more damage from the fall and impact my knee took, than these remarkable pants from which i never expected this kind of durability. i bow to adidas.
I like these, they give good compression and look good. I bought these to wear under shorts at the gym for leg day and they're suitable for that. The three stripes around the calf area make them look good with shorts. They run a bit small though... Don't do what I did, flattered and convinced myself to purchase medium size rather than large. I really think large would have been much better. Medium are tight for me, especially around the calf area, even when unzipped. I have to spend and extra few minutes getting them on perfectly. For reference, I'm 6 foot tall and I naturally have big legs. Don't get me wrong, once I have them on and have moved them about a bit, they're ideal. I just would have suited large better.
very very thin. the photo makes it look substantial... but its not. its the kind of material that you know is not gonna last for too long. especially if its laundered. not breathable either. its almost like a thin trash bag with adidas stripes on it. certainly not worth the price. i would say adidas could better but... I'm not sure if they want to! $29.99 seems like a good price point. id probably look somewhere else if you want a better value!
I got this pants but it wasn't great looking for my style and I returned this pants to the ups box to return it and please return my dads money when I first purchased this item and I no longer want this item.
These running tights are definitely worth buying. I have had tights by all the well known running brands and these are by far the best for me. The fabric makes them very comfortable no rubbing from seems. The zips are longer than i expected which is great as it makes them easy to take off and on. I have run in them in the cold and didn't notice any cold due to moisture and can't wait to see how they perform in the warmer weather. The styling is great as you would expect from Adidas and i could imagine these will be worn by non runners as well. Overall a great choice with no faults as i can see.
The outer fabric is excellent, comfortable, meshed and fast drying. The inner, compression pants have too low an elastane content which makes them awkward to pull on and don't give enough support. Not up to Adidas standard!
First off the quality of this jacket is great. Stitching is good, really light and has good shower protection. the only thing that let it down for me personally was the shape. I do a lot of fitness so I'm wide at the shoulder and narrow at the waist and this jacket has a fair bit of excess around the midriff area. I would have prefered it more fitted but it's still great value and does the job.
Have worn twice so far, unlike an other brands running jacket I did not overheat, it kept me dry and kept wind out. Only niggle it was a bit tight hug t across the shoulders when stretching but did not restrict movement whilst running.
Nice looking jacket and fit well. Shoulders are somewhat square-ish, so makes me look buffer than I am. :) That being said, the jacket is really thin and seems pretty cheap. Mine had a few stray threads here and there. There's no liner of any sort and it doesn't breathe well. I wore mine just around town and took it off often because I got too hot. Not looking forward to actually running in it. I got mine (blue) on sale and paid $42 (rather than $60). Even for that price, it still seems like it's not worth it. It does go well with my Dodgers hat, but so far we're 0-1 while I'm wearing it. Maybe it's Mets blue rather than Dodger blue. :D
I bought these for dancing and they're definitely worth wearing because they're so light and stylish. They look and feel great with any outfit, like gym, training, or casual. I'm 5'11 and I bought a medium if you're wondering too
Ok guys, I have been doing crossfit for 6 months already. During that time, i have bought different brands of tights(reebok, and nike), and none of those were confortable for movements such as back squats, wall balls etc because they do not fit well in my back side. Therefore, when I used them, I had to take lift the tight above my wrist because it would go down. That did not happen at all with the adidas. So if you plan to buy tights for crossfit buy the adidas.
I really wanted to like these, because I always wear shorts with long liners. The shorts themselves are great, light and airy, dried quickly, cool. But the liners....ugh. Formless and not very good at containing things. I was constantly tugging and pulling them up, then pulling them down. Geez, Adidas, did a real guy try these on before you started making them? Anyway, true to size, but only a C+. Wearable but not all that great. Don't think I'll buy another pair. Too bad.
