Best for CB, S or WR. Cleat held up through 3+ months of nearly everyday use, and are still certainly usable for games/practice. Stripes can come off if people step on them, but that's just a cosmetic thing. Very light, feels like wearing nothing at times. Excellent comfort, never got blisters from it, even when it was new. Will definitely be purchasing again.
These shoes are extremely uncomfortable before being broken in, which takes several games of wear. They run narrow around the arch of the foot which makes them very painful the first few times wearing them until they stretch out a bit. The top around the toes is also pretty stiff and digs into the top of the feet in an uncomfortable way during the break-in period. Definitely tie a lace lock with these cleats to prevent the heels from sliding around. Once broken in, the cleats are comfortable enough, but really excel at providing traction on hard cuts while being extremely lightweight.
I have purchased at least 3 pairs of these cleats each football season for the last 2 years(on my 4th pair to finish the high school season this year). They fit my son very well and he is a kicker & linebacker, so fit-function is paramount. HOWEVER, the cleat plate on the bottom delaminates regularly. Adidas has replaced them once out of 7 pairs, but since they are our best cleat for my son's use, we keep buying them. At least the last pair was on sale...
They're good quality cleats and very light weight with an attractive look. They feel durable as well. However, they are a bit narrow for my foot and very stiff. I'm sure that they need to be broken in a lot more and then they'll most likely become a lot less uncomfortable. But for now they hurt my feet. There is very little padding which is ideal for making a lighter weight cleat, but the comfort really isn't there. We'll see how they do after I've had the chance to use them a lot more.
Brock loved his cleats, most of the kids on his team had them and now he feels like one of the guys. He liked the black color because his old ones were gray and these look so much cooler (in his honest opinion). Brock is 13 and his Nana (me) ordered them for him. I think that's all we have to say.
To start off with the style this why is one of my favorite cleats. I had white unis in my last season of football and having all white cleats just made my swagger feel out of the roof. They do of course fall victim to scuff marks from the turf but that is expected in my mind and I was capable of cleaning them up after games. The fit I felt is for more narrow feet like mine. These cleats are so light you feel as if nothing is on your feet! I personally never had to use them in the rain so I have no input on them in that regard. I also only used them as game time cleats for away games so I cannot comment on the durability. However in the six away games I used them in I was extremely satisfied. They are at a reasonable price for what I consider great game time cleats and are available online and plenty of sports facility's. The only disadvantage to these cleats is I felt that the souls of the cleats are not the most comfortable. With that said though I loved the cleats fit, style, color, price, traction, and overall quality!
The shoes are some of the lightest and best cleats on the market but the downside is that the bottoms start coming apart after about 2-3 weeks. The customer affairs dept is good about exchanging for a new pair but then you still can only wear them about 3 weeks and then they start coming apart again.
My son plays varsity football and had his first game the other night and had a phenominal game at middle line backer. After the game I told him he was on fire tonight! He said it was because of his new Adidas cleats because they felt so light on his feet. He also said "I was ballin' tonight Dad". Thanks Adidas for making a great set cleats.
The first couple times out these babies have really performed. besides a little blood on the achilles (what cleats dont need to be broken in?) these things are great. great action into the ground and great transfer. My last cleat was the Adizero first generation, and they lasted me 4.5 years. here's to hoping these take after their great-great-great-great ancestors.
