Good lifting shoes. Lots of support, very comfortable for lifting and okay for walking in between lifts, a little awkward due to stiffness and heel however. Slight defect in toe box detracts from quality score.
These shoes exceeded my expectations. Compared to regular running shoes when lifting weights these shoes provided the extra support. They are quite stiff and not very flexible at first but over time once broken in they are quite comfortable.
Great versatile gym shoe. I bought these to replace mt Powerlift 2.0 shoes which were a bit narrow and so uncomfortable when doing anything explosive where your foot pushes into the front of the shoe. These have a wide front which makes them much more comfortable. I typically use these for weight training or plyometric style training and the thinner, less cushioned sole is ideal but I'm not sure how they'd fare on a treadmill, for example.
These started to fall apart almost immediately. Everywhere I walk around the house there are little blue pegs behind me like breadcrumbs. Sadly they would be the best slides I ever had if not but for how quickly they have fallen apart. I was going to clean them before submitting the pick but thought for the sake of authenticity - regarding the fact that I have only worn them in the house and getting the mail - hence the grass - this is what I would consider "light use"...
Similar to Nanos, flat foot and very wide toe box. They look amazing and appear to be very durable. The black / red ones are more of a red-orange color with a dark navy blue on the sole. The sole is not entirely all black.
These babies are as hard as a rock. Like I could throw them at someone's head and they would most likely knock out. That's exactly what I want in a pair of squat shoes. They also look super clean. However, I did have to exchange for half a size up. I am a 9 in women's but I had to get an 8 in men's in these because in the 7 1/2's my big toe was getting crushed at the front. I understand these are supposed to be very fitted but that was definitely not the right fitting. But it seems like I am the only one with the problem of them being too small so I might just have very long, thin feet. Altogether, these shoes are a must have if you squat very often.
A great shoe. Hard and firm sole. Good support in the ankle and under the arch. High quality materials. The only thing I would change is in the item description saying the thickness/height of the heel.
Cosmetically it's a nice shoe and they look very well built, but every time I use them I get a pain in my right calf. I tried lifting in another shoe for a while and as soon as I switched back to these the pain returned. There goes a lot of money!
Colors, comfort and durability. At first the shoes felt tighter but as I worked out, it stretched to the right extent making it one of the most comfortable shoes. I even use it for my other training as well apart from weights .
Intermediate lifter, I have had issues with my knees and lower back in the past, these shoes are perfect for squatting. Haven't noticed any issues with my knees or lower back since I started using these, would recommend!
For serious weightlifting shoes, your main options are the Adipowers or Romaleos. Personally, I've stuck with the Adipowers, and I haven't been disappointed. I already own one pair, and picked up another for my rotation. For squatting, snatching, and clean & jerking, they're tough to beat
I have been using the shoes since last year, they are very comfortable, rigid enough to support lifted weights. The only one request I have is the possibility to have choice to bay same type shoes with different hills high, it is having choice between 0. 75 inch and 0. 6 inch.
Really solid shoe, fit perfectly didnt have to go a half size down. In owning it for just over 3 weeks now I feel that my squat form is way better also with my snatches and C&J. I have bad ankle disorflexion so this shoe has really helped
The shoes quite attractive. Unfortunately I felt it was just a hair snug for my toes, when 9.5 fit me a bit loose the way i like for other adidas shoes. The pair I had also has a bit of excess glue. Overall, good lifting shoe!
One of the best weightlifting shoes available on the market. Must have for anyone who is serious about weightlifting. Very stable for squats. Toe box feels tight in the beginning so may take a few uses to break in.
Good pair of shoes with decent quality materials. Just lack of extra metatarsal strap and narrow fit and the fact that it's not a calculated heel for smaller feet is the biggest gripe. Bought these on sale which made it more reasonable. Got them only as a spare to my existing Sabo powerlifts.
If you squat as part of your workout routine, you need these shoes! Forcingredients you to drI've through your heels, it will allow you to achieve better form and stringer lifts. I have wide feed, so by the end of my work out the toe was getting a little agitated but theyou need to break in a little more. Most shoes I buy have that effect.
Adipower shoes are my first weightlifting/powerlifting shoes...love it...got much better depth in my squats on my first day use...more ankle stability, locks to the ground, gives a good push, more balanced....must buy
After 6 weeks I finally got comfortable in these lifters and started to see how well they perform. And then the heel cracked. Only 6 weeks in. Because of that, I have to say that the quality of these shoes is really poor and not worth the $200. Unfortunate, because the shoes did perform well and were comfortable to wear.
These are super soft and plush sandals, well made and stylin'. At least for me feet (high narrow arch), I found they lacked arch support. I also found the raised forefoot to be uncomfortable, as if the front of my foot was being pushed up all the time. Wanted to love these but they will have to find a new home. YMMV.
Been looking for some clean slides for awhile, wasn't about to pay for some adidas X Raf Simons slides. Found these and decided they were worth a try. Cheap, too. I was right, super comfy, super clean. Get plenty of compliments. Recommended for sure.
