micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
Got these kicks in the Andrew Wiggins Timberwolves home colorway at footlocker for $80. It was perfect in my opinion. The boost in the heel was very comfortable and the adiprene+ was decent as well to give enough cushioning to feel comfortable wearing them for hours on end but not sacrificing court feel. The primeknit upper and mesh lower is also top quality. The traction is excellent and you stop very hard and don't have to wipe too much. Just don't take these outside. The only problem that you may encounter is the fit and lockdown. The fit feels a little uncomfortable when you first play in these, but after a few days you get used to it. You just don't feel as locked down and secure as other shoes, but it's not the worst lockdown I've had in a shoe. It just didn't match the high grade of the other aspects of this crazylight model. Overall, these are a solid shoe to hoop in and you should definitely try them out.
First, I love these shoes! Best basketball shoes that I have ever played in. Boost is absolutely amazing. I was fortunate enough to get the Primeknit All-Star and they are so comfortable. Yes they run a half-size too large. I have PTTD, and use insoles and a brace. I can play a full session in these and not hobble around the day after. Amazing. One complaint is the quality. I play hard in these indoor and they are showing wear. The soft part around the X strap is pilling. The X strap is coming unglued from the frame. And the knit at the base of the tongue on both shoes are shredding apart and coming undone. Nothing that impacts the performance of the shoe, but they could have done a better job on their premiere shoe. That being said, I will never buy the other brand again. So much shoe and tech for an amazing price, great job!
They fit perfectly and are very comfortable but much thinner material than I expected and no liner. I have a 34-36 waist depending on pants and purchased a large. I am used to Adidas being somewhat sturdier (maybe they are) and the thinner weave is throwing me off. I will see how they hold up over time. If they do I would purchase again
They are great shoes! However, a more varied color choice would be appreciated. The shoes couldn't be better but the I think the lack of color choices or a "customize" option really hurts the product.
I read how everyone noted that this shoe runs big in size...I like a little extra room so I can put in my orthotics so that was not a problem for me...I think these shoes will make it on the court this summer...the red 3 sinks in....I'm still wondering if the James Harden signature shoe next season will b a high top...these are low and I prefer high but I really like these...
I was excited to order the James Harden All Star color way when it first came out. I ordered my usual size 13. When I got the shoes it looked like a 14 or 15 the shoe was huge. But by the time I received my pair the shoe was sold out besides sizes 9 and 9.5 I usually wear size 13 with this shoe I could have used a size 12 or even 11.5 I thought it was very weird. I double checked to make sure the shoe wasn't a 14 or bigger but the box and shoe tag says 13. If you can try and try them on before you buy them.
I'm 34 and play pick-up 3 times a week. I am on the (slight) physical decline and I have a bad case of plantar fasciitis. These shoes are a god send. I initially played with them with the stock insole but shortly removed them for a superfeet orange insole for better arch support and they are by far the best I've played in in years. In my opinion they top the Kobe 9, Lebron 11/12/13, Melo M11, KD5 & 8, Clutchfit drive 1&2 mid and highlight. Those shoes may have some great features but overall the Rose 6 Allstar is my favorite. The only small complaint is that they have a little too much movement in the forefoot when doing step back type plays. It's not noticeable when you are playing but definitely the first few times you warm up. The lacing system takes some getting used to as well. Overall, if you like crazy cushion and an overall solid shoe.....this is it.
I bought this shoe back in January and by the end of February, there were permanent stains in the suede from rain or basketball courts. In March, I started noticing that my left shoe had a hole in the suede by the pinky toe. I went to my shoemaker and he was able to fix it. More money I had to put into the shoe... The shoe fits and feels amazing so I try to wear them as much as possible, but maybe a week later there is a huge ripon the seam of the shoe in the middle of the inside of the same left shoe... I don't play basketball very often, maybe 3-4 time a week for 2-3 hours but this is insane how easily this shoe broke. Hopefully this is just a problem with this one shoe because they are so comfortable and have a great grip...
I bought these shoes and I wore them about 5-7 times a week and they did not hold up well. First I noticed the boost was chipping, then I noticed that rubber material in between the boost was getting beat up then in a game at halftime one of my laces ripped in half and had to buy new laces then I noticed the traction in some places was ripping. And the shoes are pretty heavy, I were kd's for a casual shoe and when I take my basketball shoes off after practice I notice a HUGE weight difference. PS Im not writing this because I hated Drose or Adidas but it is quite the opposite i'm just saying this is not the shoe for you if you play ball as often as I do.
I purchased Jordan XXX, Jordan 29, Soldier 9, Curry 2, and several other brands of shoes this year. Nothing, i mean nothing, comes close to the Derick Rose 6 in terms of cushion and comfort. Its simply in another league. I picked up the purple prime knit version. The colorway is ugly, but I wanted the soft knit as opposed to the harder synthetics. Again, amazing shoe. I am a 10b in brannock device and went with a 9.5. My foot still has room on the sides and slides, even with stance nba socks. I may have to add another liner sock for perfect fit. These run very big. Anyone whos older, or has a history of knee and ankle support, please
I just purchased these for my son. This was not a first time purchase of D Rose sneaks and have always been satisfied with the quality. I was disappointed with materials used. They look like a dollar store purchase.
Bought these yesterday and awsome gameplay from me just an more improved version of the 2015 version when euro-STEPPING in these i feel like game 6 in the semi-finals[THE WORDS ARE IN A EXCITEMENT VOICE} ........... #ANOTHER ONE
Man I love these shoes! Full length boost feels amazing, unless you like really minimal cushioning. Traction is ok and the fit is a lil roomy in the toebox but good for slightly wide feet I would say.
First things first - go 1/2 size down. Yea, standard awkward Adidas fit. But once you get that resolved, the fit is absolutely amazing. I questioned the "update" from the Crazy Light Boost 2015 to the 2.5 but as soon as you put it on, you'll realize why. The ankle portion of the shoe is like a sock and it just hugs everything around it. The shoe literally feels as if engineers designed a shoe just for my feet!
These shoes caught my eye from the moment I saw them on another site. I quickly bought them, anticipating my very first pair of lowtops that I actually would hoop in. The Primeknit upper and Boost Cushioning are the standout technical/ cosmetic features of this shoe. The asymmetrical lacing and "burrito wrap" design aid in stability. Forefoot cushioning is probably the reason I rate the shoe just shy of 5 stars. Even though I'm 33 and far removed from youthful condition, my knees hadn't ached after playing until wearing these. Once I threw in some PU insoles, however, this changed and I fell in love again. If you want a shoe that looks uniquely beautiful, this shoe is for you. If you want a shoe with function that matches the form, (buy an insole and then) this shoe is for you.
I customized my Drose 6 and i have to say, the construction and build quality is outstanding. My only complaint is, when i customized this shoe i noticed the cat tongue ankle liner isnt there, also the tongue seems to be a lot thinner than the regular colorways. But this is only because i customized mine. Also, i purchased the ankle braces that drose wears with this shoe, and they fit perfectly with my ankle, and the shoe itself. the traction is almost too good :) , but i dont recommend theses outdoor due to the soft and shallow grooves. They fit me perfectly, and the ankle brace takes up a bit of the dead space in the toe box. And you cant forget how amazing boost is. Its light weight, responsive, and has super impact protection. And the support is awesome due to the amazing fit and heel strap system, which really does work well. This shoe can be worn by any player on the court, even big men. And dont be afraid wide footers because this shoe's got you covered. And for only $140??? Thats crazy! Adidas amazes me once again, 5 stars to the D'rose 6
I got these for my husband. He has 4 other pair of d.rose shoes & he never has anything bad to say about them. He especially likes the design of these shoes & the comfort. He stated these are the best so far & plans to purchase these in red. He likes that he has the option of not tying his shoes because of the special side loops. I will definitely purchase this shoe for my son too.
I have 2 pairs of the D Rose 6 - the original and the Mi (customized) and here a quick review of both versions: Non-Mi Version: This is the standard version that you buy without customization. This is the version you want. It has all the standard features the shoes is supposed have to without anything being stripped. With that said, traction, cushion, support is hands down the best for 2015. Boost blows away anything Nike has and I'm coming from the Kobe 9 and Lebron 11 Elite. Mi Version: Highly disappointed. I'm not sure how Adidas can even get away with this. With NikeID, you get all the standard features of the original shoes but you get it customized. Period. That's it. But with Adidas, you get the sneakers customized and they strip away some major features. The features that seem to have disappeared from the Mi version are: (1) "Cat Tongue" around the ankle area. This is the fabric that locks your ankles in. It feels like what it's called and it's amazing. Mi version doesn't have it. (2) Ankle cushioning. Gone. (3) Tongue cushioning. Gone. When I discovered those features missing, I was livid. I assume that folks that buy the Mi version wear them casually? If so, that's fine but if you plan on playing in the shoes, then do NOT buy the Mi version. Adidas: If you're reading this, please do not pull this again. I love your brand and I root for your brand but this experience has put a sour note and I intend on telling everyone I know about this experience - not because I'm angry, but because I just disappointed and it's just not right to do something like this.
I am a 25 year veteran of the athletic footwear business and have played basketball on every level and have owned all of the current best shoes on the market for Lebron's, Jordan's, Kobe's etc. I was very reluctant to buy and try these shoes and bought them for my 13 year old who is an elite AAU player. I can testify the the Adidas D-Rose 6 with Boost technology is one of the best basketball shoes I've ever played in. The fit was amazing, the lacing system locked the ankles in place, the outsole had outstanding traction and the cushioning Boost technology is the best I've testing in 25 years. If you are an elite player and want the best built basketball shoe on the market for the price, I highly recommend the Adidas D-Rose 6!
This shoe is designed to get you buckets: from the secure ankle collar to the boost midsole. It's an upgrade over the D Rose 5 due to the unlocked boost so you feel more cushioning. Thanks to this shoe I get my daily recommended dose of BUCKETS!
Most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever wore. My play style is driving for layups and the acasional three, but take some quick cross amd shot and the ankle support built on the shoes really helps. Look and feel amazing on my feet, I get tones of compliments with. The only thing i would do differently is instead of buying the white pair i would buy the all black pair or black and red, because white got dirty fast ovi people stepped on them a lot while I'm playing. Also never really have to wipe the bottoms a lot good grip.
The Adidas D Rose 6 immediately goes into my top 5 men's basketball shoes of All time! The fit, style, boost technology all make this an outstanding basketball shoe! I particularly like the red with black trim. The sock liner, lacing, sole grip make the shoe agile for quick players and for larger players who require more support . Just a great shoe! Kudos to the Adidas design team on this one. Can't wait to see the D Rose 7!!
Very amazing. Cushion was the best and traction was very solid. The ankle straps really worked and lock down was just great. I have a wide foot and ankle and my foot fits great in the mesh. Worth all the money
First Adidas basketball shoe I've purchased in over a decade, I'm a Nike guy. These shoes are more comfortable than any Nike or Jordan basketball shoe I have purchased in years. Traction, comfort and ankle support is amazing. Can't go wrong.
Where do I start!? Fantastic this Rose is a huge improvement to its previous model. I had the Rose 5 and quickly dismissed them a wearable basketball shoe for me. The boost in this shoe is unbelievable I wish I could sleep on boost. The shoe hits every single point as a premier basketball shoe. I can't find a negative thing to say. The crazy light boost were in my bag all summer. The 6 has undoubtedly replace them in my Adi bag
