I don't play sports but I like a good "sweat pant" for the weekends. I used to wear the Tiro soccer pant until I discovered these. They are a little thinner and a lot more comfortable. I have a hard time finding this type of pant that isn't skin tight or a mile too long (I'm 52 years old and 5' 2" tall). These pants are perfect and only $40! I wish they came in more than just 2 colors. Anyway, excellent product. THANK YOU ADIDAS!
I have to admit I did not notice these were Tiro 15+. I thought they were the Tiro 15 training pants. However, I learned a lot about the fit. I am 5'5" and weigh 110 lbs and debated between the S and XS forever. I want to use these for hot yoga and wanted a different look than regular leggings. Of course I need to be able to move comfortably, so didn't want them too tight or too loose. I finally ordered these in the S. They really are too big all over for me, but that just helps me know for sure I am a XS in this type of Adidas pants. One note is the pockets on the Tiro 15+ do not zipper. I will be sending these back for the Tiro 15 training pants in an XS. The quality appears to be great and I plan on getting more, if the Tiro 15 training pants fits the way I expect them to.
I've got big powerlifter legs unfortunately, so while they fit me really well in terms of length, they're just too tight around my calves and thighs which inhibits range of motion. Nothing poor about the design, just not made for people with big legs. For reference, I have 27" thighs and 17" calves, usually wear a 34 waist and am 6'3"
I thought it was crazy paying $40 for sweats but it is well worth it! I got the medium & I usually wear a 6-8 & they're perfect.. I'm kinda short too 5'3 & the tampering at the legs make me happy! I would wear these everyday if I could I may even buy a few colors so I could! Awesome pant.
Don't play soccer, just always wanted a nice comfy and flattering pair of sweats but never wanted to pay so much. Finally did and I'm glad! They're super comfortable and fit very nice. I am 5'5.5 and weigh about 130 lbs and I got a small. They fit nice everywhere, not too snug on the waist but their is a draw string as well.
Personally I feel these could be a little bit tighter, so going down a size may be a better option. However, the length of these are absolutely perfect for me. Fortunately the padded knee zones are as wide and lengthy as they are as the pants fit a little loose around that area, so they still provide the padded protection for your knees as you'd expect.
I bought these to train in for soccer and basketball and they're much better than nike. Extremely light, fit great and breathable fabric best brand and quality in the world #TeamAdidas #ThreeStripLife
The length just below the knee feels odd if you're doing anything that requires knee bends. Maybe 2% lycra could resolve that. The pants tend to pull down because of the knees- you need to pull them up often. They look great and are comfortable for after workout, and you can wear them as casual shorts.
I've been using the Tierro 13 for 3 years now. I have the long ones and the 3/4. They are one of the best pants out there. I play 2 to 3 times per week, in turf and natural pitch and they last a lot. I'm a waist size 34 and the size M fit me perfectly. The padding is really good and even though it won't stop you from bruises or anything, it feels really good. If you want a hight quality pant if your starting to play or want to try a new one, be sure that this will be a great choice.
Ordered based on the description which says "zip-close pockets". I'm not sure what that mean, but I expected to have zippers on the pockets. Apparently there is no zipper... . I use those pants for running or working out and would like to have my pockets secured. Besides that... The material, fit and length are great. A pocket zipper would make it a 10.
In the pictures these pants seem to have the same fit as the Tiros. Not at all. They have more of a old school muscle pants fit and my wife described them as looking like mc hammer pants. Very good quality but much looser than they seem
I have tried numerous brands and types of goalkeeper pants and my favorite has to be the Adidas Tierro 13 Goalkeeper Three-Quarter pants, they protect what needs to be protected and are light weight, making it so that you can still make those game winning extension saves. One thing that could be improved is the padding for the front of the hip bone, no one has pads that protect that spot and on turf it all ways gets scratched up. If you are ordering this product online make sure that you use them before you have a game or a big event, for they will be folded weird and have a weird feel the first time that you use them.
I'm a 5'4'' and 250 lbs and was looking for a pair of goalie pants I could use for historical fencing--wanted some extra leg protection. These ended up being a little big in the waist but are nice and stretchy and mobile. Hit just below the knee, also which was great, and fit my hips just fine (which was a concern, being female). Like them a lot and recommend!
I bought these pants for ultimate frisbee since there's a lot of diving involved and they're a must have when playing on turf. The knee and hip padding has significantly reduced the burns that I would normally get after practices and tournaments.
These pants are my daughters favorite goalie pants. She has tried several other brands and these are now the only ones she will wear. The knees finally gave in after 8 mos so I just purchased her two new pairs.
