How difficult can it be to find a pair of running shorts that do not cover half or the entire upper thigh? Not easy, I think they must have gone out of fashion. But then I found these 2.5" inch split shorts at our local Adidas Store. They are comfortable to wear: light and with a perfect fit. And they have a nice neutral look with a quality feel.
I am a believer! I've been running on the regular Glide Boosts for about a year now, but decided to train for a marathon (in Chicago!) this winter, so I knew I needed something that would keep me warm during the cold weather. I came across these and knew I had to have them. I wore these today on a 4 mile run through 2-4 inches of untouched snow, air temp 10 degrees, windchill below 0, and they kept my feet completely dry and toasty warm. I wore them with a pair of thin wool socks and they were perfect. I heartily recommend these to anyone crazy enough to brave the elements and run in the cold midwestern (or anywhere) winters!
Loved the silver upper but I was surprised by the color variations between the left and right shoes. Different inserts, sock liners and outer rubber soles. Great idea. They are also very comfortable. Time to order a back up pair.
Having purchased many of the supernovas previously, this new boost is only average. The shoe has minimal spring/cushion when compared to running shoes. The sides now stick out awkwardly of this updated model when the previous shoe did not. I hope the next model will be more streamlined and feel more comfortable to wear.
These shoes are very very comfortable, I feel like they run just a tad big and I wish I would have gotten a half size smaller as after wearing them a month they feel even bigger. Also, the right shoe heel area squeaks when I walk so I don't wear them in public.
I have been running distance for quite some time now, and I have to say I have finally found a shoe I completely love and will never change from. I've tried the minimalist approach with shoes, and found that I liked how light weight the shoes were but there was absolutely no cushioning for my feet. After 18+ miles my feet were spent. These shoes are light weight even though they are not minimalist (10mm drop I believe) but I had no problem transitioning back into a non minimalist shoe because these shoes do not feel heavy or clunky. The mesh on the top is absolutely wonderful. It allows for a breathable, flexible fit. You can actually wiggle your toes in these shoes, which I love because sometimes on long runs I feel like I need to wiggle my toes around! The mesh is also surprisingly warm in the winter time too. This shoe also really fits well around your foot, which gives a great supportive feeling. I highly recommend this model over the newer Boost's because of the flexible material on the sides (right where the 3 stripes are). On the newer model those stripes are made of a hard plastic and they literally dig into the sides of your feet. Not comfortable at all. So if you are looking between this model and the new ones I recommend these!! I am going on my third pair of these and have trained for 3 marathons in these Supernova Glide Boost 7s. I am never going back to another shoe!
The Supernova range by Adidas is great gear for running, I have purchased previous running tops in this range and like the now inclusion of thumb holes in the sleeves which are perfect. Only wish there was more colours to select as long sleeve top is limited.
This is the second Supernova long sleeve shirt I've purchased and they're simply my favourite training tops. They aren't too fitted and are slightly longer so when you're training doing pull ups or other activities raising your arms above your head, the shirt doesn't ride up revealing your abs, which isn't an issue for me, but is for some. Overall, the Supernova range is by far the pick of the bunch for me and highly recommended.
I've been a fan of SuperNovas for years & the 7 is the sturdiest one yet. Prior models lost their support after about 100 miles but presently have 225 on the 7s I'm running in now & they still feel good. Love the way it hugs my feet but it needs to be lighter.
With all the talk about the "boost" technology I thought I would give Adidas a go again. I love them! I have done over 150km in them already and they get better with every run. They are great on long runs > 10 mile. My feet feel pretty good after long runs & being a forefoot striker I have notice that my calves and achilies love them too! Very cushy. Recommend them for neutral runners. Need to go 1/2'size,up.
This tee feels really comfortable and breathable when running. No restriction whilst using the thumb hole and a nice fit all round. Definitely worth a buy for your long running during the winter months.
Bought these shoes at adidas outlets for 50 dollars or so they are so great super comfortable definitely would buy again I'm usually a size 5 i got them size 5 1/2 because i like the extra space when running if not i hurt my big toe
Ip is version 7 that offers the Premium fit and feel via the Torsion control and the Continental rubber outsole for keeping you grounded when wet but boosting you up with the bounce and technology in footwear only pros like Adidas can provide.
I've been looking for a nice long sleeve running top for the cold season. Mainly to wear to the gym and running. It's so lightweight, the fabric is breathable, it feels nice against the skin and overall something which has become one of my favourite t-shirts to wear. The fit is very relaxed, it's a bit slimmer with the sleeves but that's normal. Very good so it's not hugging your body all the time.
I bought this t-shirt just cause i needed a sports t-shirt but boy was i surprised. the material is extremely light and the tight on the arms which makes it amazing for running. A must buy for everyone
