D Rose 5 Boost Shoes Boost in a Drose shoe? Yes please!!
October 28 2014

Ever since I tried on the boost energy running shoes, I couldn't wait until Adidas put them into the DRose line of shoes. I have been buying the Rose line since inception and have always loved how the hugged the foot and had exceptional traction but always needed a little more cushioning since I'm a bigger guard (and getting older). Simply put, the Rose 5 Boost is everything I ever wanted in a shoe. Please note that the sizing is different that previous Rose shoes bc the toe box is rounded off more than previous models. The Rose 1-4 all had a more pointy toe box so depending on your foot shape, youd have almost no wiggle room in the toe box. If you sized down half a size it would be too small . W the rose 5 you can size down half a size and still be able to move youer toes around a little. I went with my normal sz 11 and found the length to be perfect with some space to move my toes around. When I went down to a 10.5 I had less space in the toes overall and still some space to spare length wise. I highly recommend trying your normal size and half a size down so you can decide based on your preference. Cushioning is outstanding with full length boost. Somehow Adidas was able to keep that plush bouncy feel wout making the shoe feel unstable. Excellent responsiveness as well as a super smooth transition from heel to toe thanks to full length boost (not targeted like some companies ) Support: The round pads that protrude up the ankle are pretty stiff initially but as you play the warm up and flex just the right amount. The most impressive yet unspoken support structure runs along the sides of the shoe above the midsole. It really keeps my foot from sliding which really need when I cut hard. Traction: This wouldn't be a drose shoe without excellent traction and these do not disappoint. The rubber used is nice and soft and the grab the floor even on slightly dusty floors. Exactly what Id expect from a Drose shoe. I love this shoe and can't wait for more colorways to drop.!! ... read more

Adizero Adios Boost 2.0 Shoes Simply Amazing
August 25 2014

I have owned every Adios version and colour since tthe begining which was the yellow and black worn by Halie Gebrselassie............this latest shoe has all the ingredients of being the ultimate runners dream flat. Adidas have nailed it with this latest iiretation of the Adios. Old meets new. Amazing fit, down to the new shoe laces which have an elastic feel. The boost just tops it all of. Please Adidas don't change this shoe. You have got the right formulation now. All we need are more colours. "Immosibble is nothing" in the new Adidas Adizero Adios Boost 2. D Rose 5 Boost Shoes Vertical increase
January 07 2015

These shoes felt just as comfortable as my D Rose 4s, and the sizing was spot on the same. These shoes, however, have changed my perception on basketball shoes. I do truly believe with the right shoes you can perform better now. With the D Rose 4s, I was about 2 inches from touching rim. I got my D Rose 5s for Christmas this year and was able to now touch rim, even almost getting my first knuckle over it. Never before have I worn shoes that actually attribute to performance, but these shoes go above and beyond by giving you stability, comfort, and the added benefit of a higher vertical leap. ... read more

Pure Boost 2.0 Shoes Perfection in a shoe
March 05 2015

Pure Boost 2.0's? It is pure perfection. I have bought and worn many many shoes. I have owned the Nike Roshe's and worn them out. I wanted a new casual but comfortable shoe to wear on an everyday basis. Light and comfortable are understatements for this Adidas shoe. You barely notice you are wearing a shoe and as soon as you take a step, it feels as if there is a cloud under your foot. For a littler more money, I would definitely buy the Pure Boost 2.0's over the Roshe's. Due to Adidas trying to reduce the weight as much as possible, there is not much lateral stability. I wouldn't recommed running in these. (These should be in the Casual section) The Boost Cushioning is phenomenal. The upper is breathable and lightweight. Definitely order these. (I received mine in about 2/3 business days even with the basic free shipping, great service) ... read more

D Rose 5 Boost Shoes AWESOME
November 18 2014

After playing in Crazylights, and loving them, for the last couple seasons I wasn't sure if I really wanted to switch shoes. I decided to try out the 5s and I am very impressed! At first I thought the boost was not going to make a difference in energy and play, but it changes everything. I feel very secure in the shoe and never slip. The traction is amazing. My only problem is the ankle supports. They sometimes dig into my ankle when driving and can cause pain. Other than that I am very happy with this shoe. ... read more

Pure Boost 2.0 Shoes Most comfortable shoes ever
March 01 2015

The Pure Boost is the most comfortable pair of shoes i've ever worn. The boost feels incredible and upper just feels like i'm wearing a pair of slippers. Without the torsion system the boost is incredibly flexible and this helps a lot in making the shoe as comfortable as it is. The only thing that i would change is to add a couple more lace holes. ... read more

mi Energy Boost ESM 2 Custom Shoes Simply amazing!! Revolutionary
February 05 2015

I don't typically reach out to a company to tell them how I feel about their product unless I have a poor experience with them. Due to how awesome these things are, I felt compelled to contact you about my experience, which has been nothing short of revolutionary. Profile: 42 M Runner for 4 years. 30-40 miles a week, completed marathon. Run half marathon distance most every weekend. I have run in Brooks Glycerin for a couple of years now and have been pretty happy. I moved to them after starting with Mizuno Wave Rider after experiencing a lot of pain in my knees that just didn’t go away. An acquaintance of mine recommended Adidas Boost. I researched them a bit before taking the plunge. I am VERY happy with them. Actually, I am ecstatic! I’ve run in them for 3 weeks now and the claims made are all legit. I rarely run 3 days in a row due to fatigue and soreness in knees, hips, and hamstring. I get none of that with these. I feel like I am being propelled while I run. The cushioning is superb; so much so that I almost feel like I am cheating when I run. They give me an advantage and I run a lot faster with them. During my regular runs during the week I go about 7-9 miles 3-4x a week before my longer run on the weekends. My pace is significantly faster. This may seem like a crazy claim, but it is absolutely true. I typically run at a 9:30 pace. I am averaging 8:40 – 8:45 on my runs now and am not pushing any harder than I did before. Additionally, the soreness I would typically get upon completion is not there. It is simply amazing! I am 100% sold on these shoes and will never be going back to the Glycerin. The difference isn’t small; it is significant. The shoes are especially helpful on the hills. Before I would slow to a snail’s pace on hills to conserve energy required to climb. When you strike on your heal in these things, you get a great bounce and will use much less energy than before. It is awesome. I feel like a fine tuned machine running in the Boost and enjoy my runs more due to less fatigue, less soreness/pain, more cushioning, and faster times. I feel sorry for neutral runners who have not discovered these shoes. I expect to improve my marathon time significantly and avoid the “bonk” in the later miles I experienced in my last marathon. These are expensive shoes, but I would gladly pay double what the Glycerin cost based on their performance and my experience with them thusfar. If my former self as a Glycerin user ran against me now, he wouldn’t stand a chance of keeping up. The only drawbacks to the shoe that I see: 1) They are narrow. I have narrow feet, so that is fine, but they will fit snug for someone that doesn’t have narrow feet. 2) Lacing them up is different than Brooks; it takes a little more work due to the way it is designed. 3) The tongue isn’t long enough. When lacing them up, you have to be sure to get the laces over the tongue, which tends to slide under the laces. 4) Toe box isn’t very roomy. I do miss that about the Glycerin. I hope this is a modification they make in the future. These drawbacks are minor and the only one that I really would like see changed in the toebox. Outside of that, the ride of this shoe is superb. If you are a neutral runner, I would 1000% recommend these shoes. I was a little hesitant at first given that Adidas isn’t exactly known for their distance running gear, but man was I wrong! You will feel more refreshed, have better endurance and less pain. You will not regret trying these shoes. Absolutely revolutionary as far as I am concerned. ... read more

Adizero Adios Boost 2.0 Shoes Tight and light; a great racing shoe
August 23 2014

I just finished my first 10-mile CRIM following about 12 miles of break-in on these shoes. I ordered a half-size above dress-shoe size, as recommended, but the fit is still quite snug, making them a little tricky to get my wider feet into. Bottom Line; during the 10-mile race, I never even noticed that I had shoes on my feet. I have zero frontal shin pain as I've experienced with other shoes. No foot pain whatsoever. These are perfect for the mid-to-heel striker. Light, cool, a great street-racing shoe. I have found shoe love once again. ... read more

Cosmic Boost Shoes marathon runners
April 27 2015

i really enjoy the boost technology !!! these are good for me because they almost have a 0 drop and since I am a mid-foot strike runner , my natural stride feels really comfortable and with the boost this shoe feels really good, this model is great for my style. I wish the toe box would be bit wider, but the shoe body mesh is incredible and it is super comfortable on the foot and toes. I really like how the shoe hugs around the heel and bottom part of the ankle and the body of the shoe hugs well around the foot, so no slipping . I wonder how they'll fair at track practice, maybe that will be another review. ... read more

Adizero Adios Boost 2.0 Shoes WARNING Runs smaller than the original Adios Boost
August 18 2014

I'm a huge fan of the Adios series, having owned each variation over the years. I enjoyed the Boost after getting used to the new springy sole over 30 or so miles. The Boost 2 is more of the same good stuff that was introduce by the Boost. The improvements are that the build quality of the 'pure' Adios line is apparent - gone are the plastics which didn't quite work (and actually dug in to the top of my foot). I did think that the laces wouldn't stay tight as they're smoother than the grippy laces we're used to on this line - i was wrong, they work well. My only issue after 40 miles in these is that they instantly felt small on my foot. I've always worn an 11.5 in every iteration and this time things felt tight - my toes felt like they were right up against the end of the shoe. I thought it could just be the change in design and ran with it. After 3 runs it's slightly better but I clearly need to go up at least half a size. I recently got an end of line pair of Adios 2's and have no issue with the fit at 11.5. Please try them before you buy, or at least consider jumping up a half size. ... read more

mi Energy Boost ESM 2 Custom Shoes Marathon Worthy!!!
April 29 2015

I am 44 and have never felt the need nor wanted to ever write a review for a product. I got a wild notion to run a marathon so I purchased these shoes based on a random review I read. They are by far the most comfortable running shoes I have ever owned. So much so I immediately purchased another pair (not that my current were worn out, but in case they were out of stock). The fit was perfect, they are very comfortable, they seem to absorb the impact from running on concrete, and they are stylish! I have nothing negative to say about them…they allowed me to remain blister and shin splints free through my training and completion of a the OKC memorial marathon! ... read more

Adizero Adios Boost 2.0 Shoes Doesn't Compete With Your Foot
January 16 2015

Very light and helps your foot do its natural work without over support, no joint or leg shock and great rebound. Last year I competed in 5 half marathons and 2 full at age 61 and this is the best shoe yet - helped me get a first and 2 seconds in my age group in major west coast events. ... read more

Adizero Adios Boost 2.0 Shoes Need more stars to rate this shoe!
September 11 2014

The perfect running shoe: so light you almost feel barefoot. Continental rubber gives amazing traction. Boost is the best impact absorption material PERIOD. The shoe gets more comfortable to more often you run in it, as the insole forms to your foot. I like the lower heel to toe drop as well. Overall a better running stride for me, plus much better stability when doing high speed and intensity drills like 100s etc. Honestly my favorite purchase of any athletic product ever! You will love this shoe!! ... read more
