Adizero Adios Boost 2.0 Shoes The best Race shoes, but size up!
November 15 2015

My son is a size 6, so i bought, 6, 6.5 and 7.. Lucky I did!, He needed the 7!. I love that adidas offer free delivery and returns! making ordering different sizes affordable. slightly concerned that the postage cost they pay from germany to the UK and back again would cost them more than the profit on the shoes though? These Adios Boost 2's are perfect for the track or shorter distances when you need a little more support for regular training. The grip is exceptional too. Really impressed with this shoe and will look for a pair for myself now! ... read more

Adizero Ubersonic Shoes Low profile without the cushioning
November 15 2015

Initially I loved this shoe I felt planted to the ground and moved extremely well on the court. It was almost my favorite shoe of all time. However... My knees really started to hurt after a few sessions on the court. I'm 35 years old and still play very hard but I wish I had younger knees so I could give this shoe 5 stars. ... read more

This is the second pair of Adios Boost's I've bought. They are light but offer great support. The continental Tyre grip is long lasting, even after 400 miles. I have worn them for speed work and long runs out in the countryside. ... read more

Adizero Ubersonic Shoes Great shoes- disappointing sole
October 26 2015

I love the support and comfort these shoes provide. Initially I preferred these shoes to all previous purchases. However, I am disappointed by the lack of durability in the sole of the shoe. I have owned these for less than two months and for the past week and a half the sole has been worn through on my primary foot. I play tennis 10-12 hrs a week on hard courts. I guess if you play even half as frequently as that you would be better served by the Barricade shoes which are guaranteed for 6 months. ... read more

Adizero Adios Boost 2.0 Shoes Great all-round shoe!
October 20 2015

I recently decided that I would buy some new shoes to help me keep fit during my studying at university. I have suffered with knee problems for the last few years after a minor injury, and would get knee aches after long periods of running, so did my research into finding a supportive shoe to avoid the knee aches I got in previous running shoes. These shoes provide great stability and support that I need and I have now avoided any knee pains whatsoever, and whilst being very supportive the shoe is also extremely lightweight and comfortable, and the Boost soles give an amazing bounce, much greater than all other previous shoes I've owned. I would highly recommend this shoe to any type of runner, the Boost soles especially are a must for anyone! ... read more

Adizero Adios Boost 2.0 Shoes Super light running shoe
October 19 2015

When I received the shoes I thought they sent me and empty box. These shoes are lighter than my old Adizero Boston shoes that they replace. The support feels concentrated in the middle of the forefoot. This is where I aim to land my strides. I like the bias cutout on the heel. If you do have a heel landing this shape will have the heel to road contact area almost parallel, so your foot does not get twisted. The laces and the overall shape are almost identical to the Adizero Boston so these too allow a perfect snug fit, but the Adios may even be better than their predecessors. ... read more

Adizero Adios Boost 2.0 Shoes Boost caused knee discomfort
October 07 2015

I run two marathons per year, one in the spring and one in the fall each year. My shoe is the adios. That shoe was moved to boost technology. I purchased my first pair in early 2014, orange and silver, started experiencing slight knee discomfort after my first run, but I thought it was a running technique issue. I raced one marathon in those shoes. Purchased a second, same issue although not as bad. My current pair, purchased in Feb 2015, have caused even more knee discomfort. I wish there was an adios option without boost technology. Otherwise, I'm afraid I am going to move to another shoe maker. I would like to avoid because all my running apparel (running shorts, short and long-sleeve running shirts, socks, pants, jackets, gloves, beanies) are also adidas. ... read more

These shoes look great and work well for the gym. Not every shoe is good for both inside the gym and outside on the track. Adizero Ubersonic Shoes Best Adizero Yet
August 03 2015

Trust me when I say this, I have a lot of adidas tennis shoes. I am a big fan of the barricade and have recently been sporting the barricade 9 which I think is a great shoe. Recently I got the chance to test out the new Ubersonic, I have tried a couple of Adizero shoes in the past but often found them feeling either cheap or uncomfortable. Firstly, I was keen to try this particular model because I think it looks great. In all black with a red sole these shoes look like they mean business, a stealth bomber disguised as a tennis shoe. The profile of the shoe also boosts it's aesthetics, the guys at adidas told me this has been build on a running last thus giving the unbersonic a sleek and speedy look. The subtle 3 stripe branding on the side and adidas logo on the heel all add to the shoes look. It's not showy, it's 'I am going to sneak on on court, cause you problems, and then disappear before you even know who or what happened' and I love that! So, how does the Ubersonic perform? I haven't been harping on about the looks just because I am image concious, although we do all like to look good on court. However I think the performance of this shoe is actually based around the sleek and speedy look of it. The shoe feels planted, you feel low to the ground and ready to pounce, or dance if that's more your thing. My best analogy is that this this is an F1 car, and your the driver sat low and close to the floor. It defiantly does feel a little like a running shoe for tennis, and maybe that's what adidas had in mind. This shoe is supposed to be about speed and I certainly feel quicker around the court in this vs a barricade. Don't worry when I say running shoe, this still has good lateral support which is set toward the mid and rear of the shoe in the form of a reforced polymer band in which the laces loop through and lock you down. Adidas has informed me they have moved toward mid/rear foot support to help give more flexibly/agility in the forefoot, and this certainly delivers. Grip wise, at first they felt all over the show, I think with any new pair you need to take a thin layer of rubber off before they becoming sticky. After a few matches I feel I have a perfect balance between grip and the ability to slide a little on a hard court. A number of people often pick a tennis shoe based on durability, for me it's not really on my list of requirements, I go for comfort first, how it's feels, how it looks and then will it last. I am not best placed to comment on the durability having only worn the shoe for a couple of weeks. So far so good, I have been playing hard and pushing the shoe, there is a thick layer of rubber around the toe box for abrasion protection and mine still look close to new despite me sliding around the court. I am guessing the outsole will last as adidas have used the industry standard in durability, their adiwear6 rubber. Inside the shoe there is an internal sock and sharks tooth lining (that's what I call it) basically it grips the sock to stop your foot sliding around. I think adidas have really upped their game in the comfort category with this shoe and the most recent barricade, so we'll done adidas! I have given this shoe 5 stars, I think it's possibly one of the best shoes on the market aimed at a serious player with a fast game and I can't wait to put them on my feet again. Finally, word of advice, I am usually a UK 10, however the 10.5 fits me perfect. Thanks. ... read more

Adizero Adios Boost 2.0 Shoes What the Adios are for.
July 26 2015

The Adios are for mid-foot strikers. That's the healthy and natural way to run. Heel-strikers need a lot of cushioning, cause they're running the wrong way - jump on your heels, bare foot, and you'll understand what I say. So, the Adios boost might be a bit softer in the heel, but is still very firm and responsive in the mid and forefoot, so, still an amazing shoe. Adidas is number one - though not on the availability of the products, but they might have been surprised by their own succes.... ... read more

Adizero Speedwrap Ankle Brace Right Foot Money well spent
July 16 2015

I got these speedwraps for my first son after he wore me down begging me to get him what I thought was yet another sport accessory. He said Drose wear and has the exact same product in his sport bag and that they work in preventing him from further ankle injuries. I thought we should give them a look. They have been great in minimizing and preventing sprain ankles and other foot injuries. Unlike other ankle wraps, he likes the adidas speed wraps so much he wears them without me having to remind him to do so. We just got a second pair for my other athlete son. ... read more

June 10 2015

Absolutely the best running shoes I have ever owned. Light, fast and responsive with just enough cushioning for longer runs. Only drawbacks are slightly too small sizing (as normal with adidas) and laces are a bit too snazzy for my liking. Usually adidas include another less conspicuous pair but not in this instance sadly. Great running shoes tho, highly recommended. ... read more

Adizero Adios Boost 2.0 Shoes Too light for marathon
June 05 2015

I am a huge Adidas fan. Love the Boost and Adios line. Been training and racing with them for about 5 years now. I ran the San Diego Marathon on 31May15. My right foot began to hurt about mile 10 or so. (I am a mid-foot striker). I am not sure if it was anything I did but the pain left after about 2-3 miles. About 17 or 18 the pain was much worse but this time in my left foot. The pain forced me to walk and jog and I was done. I completed the race way slower then I anticipated. I want to say the shoe was great up to a Half-Marathon distance. I don't think there is enough cushion and support for a marathon. I will stick to the Boston Boost. Anyone else have similar problems? I am 49 yoa. I do 1-2 marathons a year. I train all the time and have a 3:07:11 PR for the 26.2 haul. ... read more

Adizero Adios Boost 2.0 Shoes Strange shoe colors
May 19 2015

I have been running in Adidas adizero shoes for several years now, and have been very satisfied with the fit and feel. I wanted to touch on the color of the Adizero Boost 2.0 listed as "Mid grey/flash red/flash green", as this was a major problem for me. On the website, the shoe is shown as gray with a red stripe and a green bottom. To me, that is great, however, when the shoes arrived, they were both gray, but one had a red stripe and green bottom like that pictured, but the other had a green stripe with a red bottom. I thought this was a mistake at first, called Adidas, and returned the shoe after they also thought this was a mistake (two shoes that don't really match). I re-ordered the same shoe, and to little surprise, it was still mismatched. I am attaching pictures to show what I mean. After carefully looking at the website, it is very clear that only the left shoe is shown with the green bottom. I am very disappointed in Adidas for not making this clear on their site or to their customer service reps and will be returning these again, as I really dislike the mis-matched look. ... read more

Adizero Adios Boost 2.0 Shoes Love 'em, but...
April 22 2015

I have put a lot of miles on the original Adios Boost shoes since they first appeared in the stores, training for, and running marathons, and other distances. They are my favorite of all brands I've tried, so far, without question. I recently bought, and use the 2.0, with great satisfaction. My only negative issue is that the black sole material is too thin, (roughly 1/16th"), on the heel. It wears down quickly when continually running on pavement. I make a conscious effort not to heel-strike, and I'm fairly light in my stride, yet the outside edge of the heel is significantly worn compared with the rest of the heel after less that a hundred miles. Uneven wear can be problematic, and while the shoe itself may have many more miles available, this wear pattern undermines the durability under fairly normal use, and renders this excellent shoe redundant far too soon, in my opinion. ... read more

Adizero Tee smokey
April 15 2015

This is literally a unique shirt. As Adidas says no two of these shirts are alike. There are only a few “crease or paint job issues” but it’s not a production defect but part of the design. It’s like buying distressed jeans and then complaining about torn patches! After reading the reviews, I opted to go one size down. I’m usually a Large but got a Medium and it fits well. So you may want to go down a size because it is pretty loose. As it is customary with adizero tennis line, the design is a bold and beautiful one. You’d get compliments from people. Whoever came up with this motif should get a raise! If I want to be picky, I’d say I’m not crazy about the fabric they used. It’s a strange kind of fabric which I haven’t seen in any other Adidas shirt. The fabric used in Barricade climachill Tee is much softer, lighter, and a bit stretchy too. All in all, it’s a cool looking shirt and I will get another one too. ... read more

Adizero Adios Boost 2.0 Shoes Awesome fit.
March 08 2015

I read a lot of review before getting this shoe and most people said one should get half a size higher than their regular size to have a loose fitting. I actually bought my normal size (10) and it just sits in perfectly. It feels tight at first but it grows to mold into your feet. I do think if your feet is narrow you don't need half a size up, but if your feet is wide you may need the half size up. I didn't get the half a size up and this shoe is doing its job just fine. ... read more
