Crazylight? More like Crazyheavy. The boost in shoe is a little stiff in my opinion but the way they implement the boost was cool because the impact protection. I weigh around 235 and shoe is great when I land hard on the court. Do not go true to size!!! I urge you to go half a size down. Too much heel slip while I was running up and down the court even using nba socks. I have kind of a wide foot but I killed it going true to size because when I went half a size down it wasnt bad at all! Traction was great indoors but for some reason I slipped a few times outdoors.
Pros: this shoe is as light as they say they are Very comfortable They look good on foot Don't have to break them in Cons: I don't know if this was with just mine but the traction isn't very good They run a little bit big
These hit the spot, after spending my last 3 season playing in KD6, Kobe 10s and Kyrie 1s, this was a huge step up from Nike Basketball. I own other adidas sneakers but this was my first time buying adidas Basketball kicks, and it wont be my last either. I feel like pablo when i ball in these.
Shoe is amazing for the price. Adidas is truly changing the shoe game in terms of the quality of the shoes for the amount they are charging. With the premium jacquard upper, the neoprene interior for maximum comfort, amazing traction, and last but not least...BOOST cushion, there is nobody that can compete with Adidas commitment to their customers. that being said, the shoe isn't perfect. While lock down is amazing in the forefoot, I highly suggest trying on a pair for future consumers or going down half a size. For some reason, Adidas has not been able to nail their sizing down to match their incredible shoes. I unfortunately had to go down a FULL size down to accommodate the shoes length because i constantly was having heal slippage in my regular size . But despite all of that, the shoe is amazing and I highly recommend it!
Shoes run a little large so I had to go down half a size. Comfortablility was great. I'm in my 30s so I only wear the crazy light boost 2016 when my legs feel good else I wear the crazy explosives. #BoostIsLife
The CL boost 2016 has amazing cushioning but it' not too durable. The shoe breaks in really easily and the upper really conforms to your foot. Only problem is, there is heel slippage even after going a full size down. You have to constantly tie the shoe very tight so that it feels a little more secure at the back. The front area is very secure and supportive. The traction is very good; minimal whiping require. But, the traction does not seem to last. After using the shoe indoors for about 4 times, the outsole had a lot of fraying and wear. The traction is very good but not so durable. Overall, the shoe had amazing cushioning/impact protection, lateral support, and outstanding traction, but it lacks in the durability, overall support, and sizing department (Going down a full size did not help too much with the heel slippage. It got better but I would suggest trying this shoe in store first. Boost is amazing.
Great looking shoe. These run long so get half size lower than regular Adidas shoe. Unfornately the killer was the width in the toe box. WAY too narrow. The worst I have experienced so I had to return.
The shoes are very comfortable and really nice. Furthermore they really stick to the floor. Perfect. But I am so disappointed that after one training and one game they are already looking like I've worn them a lot... First time playing with Adidas and, again, I am really disappointed...
This was probably the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever hooped in. Both of my pinky toes had blisters because the shoes were too narrow. My feet were aching and my legs were sore after 2 hours of playing. My feet are pretty narrow and I went true to size not a half size down. The cushioning was too firm for the boost to be effective. Listen to kick genius and do not cop these. I will be returning these and trying out the crazy explosive to see if they are any better. The only thing I would say is that they look better in person than online. Best of luck to everyone.
These shoes live up to the standards and reviews everyone has said before. There are a few issues that I have, which may or may not be a deal breaker. I went down a size which is perfect length and width now, but there is still heel slippage. My friends have the same shoe and also encounter the back part of the shoe slipping while playing. The loose back seems to also affect the shoe laces loosening up. I like my shoes nice and snug and hate to stop to retie my laces. The biggest issue with the white shoes is that Adidas did not use continental rubber for the sole. At first the traction does its job, but eventually you'll find yourself wiping the bottom every other possession in the game. This is annoying! Overall these shoes are great though. For its price, there really isn't anything that can argue with it unless you grab the Crazy Explosives. If you're looking for a low top shoe that gives you the freedom to move like a guard and so hard cuts, this is your shoe. The boost sole is also super comfortable and works for impact protection.
I was skeptical on buying these shoes at first, but decided I would get them to use as shoes to practice in this season. The moment I opened them up I was in love! I am a huge fan of all white shoes and the color is great, the look is great and they feel awesome! They are a little tight but I have yet to break them in! Totally would buy again.
The cushioning are A1, looks great. Overall i'm pretty satisfy with the shoes. But, i suggest to go full size down, i went half size down the first time, and they were still long, so i went down a full size, it will get a better lock down.
Almost perfect. The shoes are very comfortable. I love the boost cushioning and the material of the upper. I just hate the fact that even though I already went down from my true shoe size of 10 to 9.5, I still feel like I could still drop a half more size to get a proper fit. Hopefully then this will prevent the heel slip I keep getting.
Adidas people PLEASE make a wide version of these shoes! They look great and all the poeple seem to like them! I love them but I have a very wide feet and does not fit me/I have a big problem finding shoes to fit me/! I am sure there are other people with the same problem!
Width of the shoes fits me perfectly even though i have a wide feet. The traction is great, but I wouldn't recommend playing outdoor regularly as the traction will burn out fast. The fit is good, could be better as sometimes i was having heel slippage. The shoe is good overall
Well as a WideFooter i had some issues with the forefoot being a little too snug but after 5-6 hours of playing the role cage broke in and everything was amazing . The shoe is a little bit long but nothing that will make you not wanna play in them. Traction is 8/10 outdoors and lockdown was decent . Some saying there is heel slippage even though i didnt have that but i heard Heel Lock Lacing helps with that a lot , so maybe try it .
This shoe was a let down compared to all of the reviews posted. I was completely unsatisfied with this purchase. The shoe was clunky and heavy which doesn't not fit it's name at all. Secondly, the fit of this shoe is absolutely terrible. I bought both the size 10.5 (usual true to size) and size 10. I tried the size 10 on and both my heel and toe would touch the top and bottom of the shoe. Additionally it was tight around the forefoot to a point where it was borderline hurting. I tried the 10.5 on and it felt a lot better, however, I noticed that there was a lot of heel slippage. The length was a lot better, or so I had thought but once I played in these shoes felt extremely loose and unsafe to jump in due to the heel slippage. I was not able to jump and perform as usual. The shoes felt really clunky even though they were true to size. Finally, the traction was not so great either and I'm having a hard time believing that because of all of the reviews out there. I had to wipe my shoes as many times as an old pair of Kobe 8s that I've had and played in for 4 years now. The gym floor was fairly clean too. I must admit, I did like the feeling of the boost cushioning system when I was trying these shoes on. They felt quite comfortable too before I actually started playing in them. Overall, it was a complete let down and I wish I could try the size 10s while playing too before writing this review but I don't want to get stuck with two pairs of shoes that I provably won't wear again
The shoe is great, I always feel a bit of sore under my patella when I land in my previous shoes but I have none in the crazylight 2016. However I really dissapointed by Adidas Indonesia since they sell this shoe only in it's white on white colorway and the price is around $250. it's more than a double than the original price in the US. Adidas should do better pricing strategy since it's way more expensive than the rival signature brand.
Truly pains me that I had to return these due to inconsistent sizing and fit. The left shoe fit great but the right was way off. Traction and cushion were all time. I had the most issues with the shallow heel cup and the lacing was a bit off for me. Really too bad because these are one of the most comfortable hoop shoes I've ever put on. Lock down was just a little too unstable for me personally. If the ankle collar was just 2 cm higher in the heel, I think they would've been perfect.
The look and comfort of this shoe are both great. However, I have had my foot completely slip out of the shoe THREE times while making cuts in a basketball game. I tied them tighter and it still happened. That is the sign of a flawed product when it comes to performance.
Adidas Crazylight Boost low is by far the best basketball shoe ive played in. Now, Iam not a hooper but i do play rec and with Friends. The quality of the shoe is great and the bost is felt during play. Pretty good traction, very comfotable, and your feet Will not Hurt afterwards. The only problem is the fit of The shoe, you need to go half a size down. Other than that you Will get your moneys worth, HANDS DOWN.
Great low top shoe. Full length boost provided solid cushioning and the upper of the shoe fits very comfortably and snug. The continental rubber used on the sole makes for excellent traction. Beware, the shoe runs half a size to a full size too big. So if you wear an 11, go ahead and get a 10 or 10 1/2
Not sure why people are so in love with this shoe. The Crazylight Boost Low 2016 is definitely an above average shoe (especially for how much it costs in comparison to competitors). Pros: Boost- very comfortable-- different feel from Ultra BOOST because the BOOST is more dense and compacted Traction- A1, awesome/great/phenomenal. The use of continental rubber definitely helps and makes it more the outsole more sticky and durable Material: Jacquard is very durable and definitely better than most fused uppers. Flexible and soft enough to provide comfort and durable enough to not tear or rip easily. Cons: Lockdown- HORRIBLE. Lots of heel slippage when walking, running, and jumping. I thought lockdown would be a given in 2016 for any basketball shoe (even if it's a low top because they do exist) Fit- WTH?! 1. The shoe is outrageously extra long so going down a half size is actually like going up a half size in a normal shoe. If you go down a FULL size in the Crazylight BOOST 2016 then you're actually getting your normal size that you would purchase for any other shoe (I hope that makes sense) 2. There is only 4 lace holes/ eyelets! Why adidas did this is beyond me and it doesn't make sense. I don't think that is related to any heel slippage, but rather having only 4 lace holes doesn't keep the foot from sliding around in the shoe and keeping the shoe molded/hugging your foot. It's very abnormal to only have 4 lace holes when most others shoes average 6-8 lace holes which seems to get the job done lockdown wise. Overall, I would still consider this shoe to be above average because of the great traction (which you can't find in a lot of shoes out there for some reason) and because of the BOOST which makes it a very comfortable shoe and great for absorbing impact. I gave the shoe 3 starts because it's an above average low top basketball shoe, but lacks a very effective lockdown which is essential to me because if a basketball shoe doesn't have great lockdown then I might as well play in tennis shoes.
I was disappointed in the lack of cushion on these shoes. I am used to wearing Ultra Boost off court and D Rose 6 on court and was hoping for the same feel--not even close. If you are looking for that boost feel, go with the Crazy Explosive instead. That said, if you like less cushion and more court feel these might be perfect for you. They are comfortable, but just don't give that boost feel I was expecting. I have a slightly wide foot and true to size on these was perfect for me.
These are niiiice! Not just a basketball kick but great to wear outside of playing the game. Crazylight's often get reviews saying they come up quite big but I'm a 9.5 and these were perfect as a 9.5. Another hidden gem that not many people will have.
