Have had these for a couple of weeks and have been wearing them as often as I can. Great for running, gym, dragon boating. They keep me warm without overheating or sweating heaps. They don't irritate my leg hairs like lots of tights. The waist band is a bit tight and sits a bit high on me, but maybe I just need to run a bit more!?
A very comfortable shoe with a neoprene like feel to the upper layer. The sole is different and is very giving for running but beware if using them to drive as the cutout makes pedals a bit of a faff.
Been lusting these for a year or so now and finally purchased them on discount. Really happy with them and the fact that I yet managed to grab them! Comfy and stylish af but driving a car is a bit awkward with them.. Especially a manual gear one. The gap on the outsole fits just to the pedals so the touch is a bit odd.. Also the size is a bit loose, would recommend to go one or even one and a half sizes down your normal one.. Otherwise 5/5 buy!!!
I really like these shoes. Very comfortable and breathable. My foot fits freely into them and it doesn't feel squashed. My favorite part is how great they look . I received multiple comments and they look modern and contemporary while also providing maximum comfort. The boost is awesome and really fulfills the loom of the sneaker. Great for everyday use and running
The style of the shoe mostly goes with anything, what's good about this shoe. You feel good wearing them too. This was my first time trying out the "boost technology" built into the shoe. Less stress on my feet.
This sizing review applies for for: AdidasTubular Runner/ Tubular Nova Suede/Tubular X(High Top Version), but not Adidas Tubular Radials I got a size 9.5(US Mens) in these, but keep in mind that I'm a size 10 in the OG Ultra Boost. Also I'm a size 10.5 in Air max, which gives you an idea of what to expect. With my fit in these I prefer more that 0.25" of room, but less than 0.5".
I do not know if it‘s because my shoes are discounted goods. The shoe edge should be flat and smooth, while I can see the lots of wrinkles on the edge. My left shoe edge is flat and right one is not. I have no time to exchange for another pair and I still feel disappointed about the quality. Anyway, I still like its total design.
I love these joggers. The length, slightly cropped above the ankle, is perfect for spring/summer and the colourful stripe is great. However, I found them to be on the small side. Normally a small in Adidas stuff, these were too tight so will be swapped for a medium. Otherwise a lovely buy!
This is the best bball shoes I've ever bought! D rose 6 has the Best cushioning ever and it is still pretty responsive with adequate court feel! The Black & Red colorway is durable and really well padded so it feels comfortable, however the ventilation could be a little bit better!
I really like my shoes. But there is one recommend for those who wants to buy a pair of Tubular shoes is you should choose the size that is smaller than your real size. Other thing is completely OK. Let's buy one and see what u will receive :)))
The quality and the outlook of the shoes are excellent. Traction is great on indoor court. For the down sides, two things need to be mentioned, boost and fit. Boost is great soft, I can feel it clearly, but after 2 hours play, my knees and ankles are sour, which has been with me for recent two year. I think it went with the soft boost. The other thing is about the fit, to get good lock down feeling, there are two lace eyes in each shoe, but they quite hurt my feet and I have to wear thick socks or not using them. Hope the next version will be better.
Super comfortable shoe, the boost is great. A little tight just beyond the laces, but the rest is great. Traction could have been better but I play outdoors on poor Tarmac so can only be so good. The build quality is phenomenal and I definitely recommend these shoes. They look great. This was for the synthetic leather model.
I'm 34 and play pick-up 3 times a week. I am on the (slight) physical decline and I have a bad case of plantar fasciitis. These shoes are a god send. I initially played with them with the stock insole but shortly removed them for a superfeet orange insole for better arch support and they are by far the best I've played in in years. In my opinion they top the Kobe 9, Lebron 11/12/13, Melo M11, KD5 & 8, Clutchfit drive 1&2 mid and highlight. Those shoes may have some great features but overall the Rose 6 Allstar is my favorite. The only small complaint is that they have a little too much movement in the forefoot when doing step back type plays. It's not noticeable when you are playing but definitely the first few times you warm up. The lacing system takes some getting used to as well. Overall, if you like crazy cushion and an overall solid shoe.....this is it.
When buying these shoes i was skeptical to the performance of the shoes as i knew how heavy the shoe was and how the materials aren't very flexible. When i opened them though i was blown away, the boost creates a cloud for you to run on! With all this boost in the shoes does have negative effects though. Trying to be light on your feet and on your toes is a struggle. The grip on the shoe is good but wiping is needed due to the grooves not being very deep. I would recommend this shoe to a big man or a powerful player due to all the boost and the way the shoe is made. The ankle support is OK, there is very thick padding in the ankle but i feel it could come a little higher on the ankle and have a few more lase loops. All in all the shoe looks great, is made amazingly and performs really well.
I bought this shoe back in January and by the end of February, there were permanent stains in the suede from rain or basketball courts. In March, I started noticing that my left shoe had a hole in the suede by the pinky toe. I went to my shoemaker and he was able to fix it. More money I had to put into the shoe... The shoe fits and feels amazing so I try to wear them as much as possible, but maybe a week later there is a huge ripon the seam of the shoe in the middle of the inside of the same left shoe... I don't play basketball very often, maybe 3-4 time a week for 2-3 hours but this is insane how easily this shoe broke. Hopefully this is just a problem with this one shoe because they are so comfortable and have a great grip...
First brought this in orange size small. A little loose but still looked gdood. Ordered it in the blue and green in xs and the fit was more snug and fitted. I like both fits, depends on your preference if you like loose or fitted. No ironing needed :D
I bought these shoes and I wore them about 5-7 times a week and they did not hold up well. First I noticed the boost was chipping, then I noticed that rubber material in between the boost was getting beat up then in a game at halftime one of my laces ripped in half and had to buy new laces then I noticed the traction in some places was ripping. And the shoes are pretty heavy, I were kd's for a casual shoe and when I take my basketball shoes off after practice I notice a HUGE weight difference. PS Im not writing this because I hated Drose or Adidas but it is quite the opposite i'm just saying this is not the shoe for you if you play ball as often as I do.
Previous reviews said ideal if short or you like expose your ankles. I am just over 5 foot 3 so figured the cuff would turn out to be just right for a change (rather than long leg length surplus bulging out over the ankle cuff), however the trousers turned out to be cropped capri style on me too! Perhaps I have longish legs in proportion to my torso? Full cotton rather than polyester was really nice and size 10 an accurate slim fit. On the whole I Iike the design but have returned as I want warm ankles :)
I have a lot of sneakers for different training reasons and to wear in general - to actually train in them I rate them average and not ideal for running as there is not that much support around the foot it doesn't hug your foot I even rolled my ankle the first time because of the height of the shoe - to wear them all day and standing up all day I'd recommend them
Just received my pair!!! Only thing, the sizing feels as if it's from a males measurement. When I looked at the reviews before I brought a pair, I decided to go down a size( (9) I usually wear a 9 1/2). Trying them on for the first time, they had fit but there was just a little room at the front. I wear a 8 1/2 in men's, an 8 1/2 would had fit to the T. Overall, I am satisfied with the little room provided. Great color ( gray and white) and very comfortable shoe.
So I seen these shoes Online & I went crazy looking for them, only stores that carry them are the Retail store, I live in East LA & the only store that had them was the adidas store in Costa Mesa (33 Mile Drive) it was a must I that I drove all the way out there :) ahaha. love these shoes super comfortable I definitely recommend them, they run a little big I got a whole size smaller then the usual. (I got the white with gray)
First these shoes look even better in person! All the negative reviews have some truth on sizing. However, they are not 2-3 sizes bigger than what you'd normally wear. they are about a 1/2 size big. I read reviews and ordered a 6.5 instead of a 7.5. A size 7 would have been perfect. I have very narrow feet so they are a little wide and I tad small length wise but They aren't uncomfortable. If you're looking to purchase these order them a half size smaller than you normally would
I usually wear a size 9 in womens, but I ordered at size 8 in the all black color going off of other reviews. They fit great, but it is still slightly long. I didn't go down a size and a half because I have a wider foot. They probably would have been slightly too tight if I went down to a 7.5. Love the shoe and I could wear them everyday if I want to because they go well with everything.
Only thing I can say is that the sizing is tricky, I'm usually an 8.5 in women's sizing so after reading the reviews on sizing I ordered these in a 7 and they fit great. Bought the all black ones for the gym and runs and the grey/white ones for casual wear. I will say the grey ones fit a little more snug than the black but it could just be the material.
I purchased Jordan XXX, Jordan 29, Soldier 9, Curry 2, and several other brands of shoes this year. Nothing, i mean nothing, comes close to the Derick Rose 6 in terms of cushion and comfort. Its simply in another league. I picked up the purple prime knit version. The colorway is ugly, but I wanted the soft knit as opposed to the harder synthetics. Again, amazing shoe. I am a 10b in brannock device and went with a 9.5. My foot still has room on the sides and slides, even with stance nba socks. I may have to add another liner sock for perfect fit. These run very big. Anyone whos older, or has a history of knee and ankle support, please
