Love my new Gazelle shoes! The navy colour is very versatile as it suits most outfits I wear meaning I can wear these a lot. They feel very robust and the suede has a nice soft finish. The tongue looks really funky against the classic design and it is clear instantly when wearing these shoes that a lot of consideration into the sole and base ergonomics as they are very comfy without having to change how I walk with some shoes that are ergonomically designed to be too raised around the inside of the arch on the base of my foot. All in all I love them! Great purchase

I got these as a father's day gift for my dad. He is 61 and wore Gazelle's exclusively when I was a kid. He was so happy to get them. They fit the same and are as a great shoe. He was disappointed at the colors they were offered in this time around though.

First they are very nice looking shoes, a little more Royal/ light blue than the picture shows, but still very neat shoes. I've gotton many compliments on how nice they are, and its true they are a bit snug but when you get them just pull out the back and sides of them to break them in. Also they do squeek for a couple days however its not very loud, you cant really hear them in the halls at school or a resturant. So until thats corrected they will remain good, but otherwise could be worth an excellant rating. Also if the zigzag adidas lines down the side were straight they wouldn't fray so easily.

Too Narrow of Shoes
I am a loyal ADIDAS shoe purchaser and it's not my first purchase online. I am displease with this shoe because it's so narrow. If they are going to make shoes this narrow, they should let the online public know. I hope they can come up with some solution on this problem because I purchased 3 shoes on this online order and they were all narrow. Give us the option on a E, EE or EEE on or shoes if you are going to continue with this make of style. Or I may have to change shoe brand.

work of art
I don't know how anyone could use this shoe for soccer. It's too beautiful. I know I know - it is SO cliche for me to say it. But here I go saying it: this shoe along with the black, is an absolute work of art. It's beauty is in its simplicity. The navy suede absorbs the light so well that it would be a crime to wear with anything other than worn jeans. I have received only two compliments on it, both of them emphatic and earnest. But that is exactly what I want. I want people to look at my ensemble and think, "something is really cool about the vintage t-shirt and jeans, but there's something else going on and I can't quite place it."
The design seems perfect 70's, especially the toe. I wish the tongue wasn't "plastic" but it makes for a nice effect as background for the laces.
The contrast between the iconic white stripes, that lead the eyes from the sole to the laces, and the dark swede is bright and vivid. The shoe is indeed comfortable but at first it took sometime to get used to the narrow feel of the shoe. I wear 10 1/2 to 11. The 11 felt significantly more comfortable so I recommend erring on the side of too long.

I love Adidas shoes have been wearing them for years.Love the comfort and always classic style. My only negative is my recent purchase I had to purchase online since no one in Colorado carries the classic Gazelle. I had been looking for them for sometime and was told try here you had them shipped them promptly ...but having to buy with out trying on I think I would have gotten a 1/2 size bigger. thats it .

I have been wearing Gazelle's for over 35 years. I have had over 20 pair. Very comfortable. Would like to see Adidas bring back some of the other colors and combinations.

A little on the narrow side. I think I have a wide foot though. I wear them without socks and they are fine.

Finally got my Gazelles back!
In 1975 I was singing in a choir in Philly. I had two pair of Gazelles. A red one and a blue one. I left them in a hotel and wanted a pair ever since then. I don't shop for shoes for often, but when I did, I would ask if they had Gazelles. They never did. In fact, most of the stores had never heard of them. I heard adidas stopped making them for a while. On a recent birthday I looked on line for them and low and behold, there they were. Bought 'em, Love 'em. I feel like singing. Thanks
