Good lifting shoes. Lots of support, very comfortable for lifting and okay for walking in between lifts, a little awkward due to stiffness and heel however. Slight defect in toe box detracts from quality score.
This are the best all around shoes that you can ever have. My last ones lasted me 4 years and I wore them for everything. Mine have stains of sweat, grass, blood, alcohol, paint and dirt, I wore them for everything, soccer games, parties, dancing, gym, hiking, long walks, and even working construction they served their purpose and it's time to retire them and get a new pair of Sambas Millenium
This purchase was definitely worth it. I totally would recommend buying. They are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet. I only have a problem with piling. After maybe 3 or 4 wears they started piling and it it was upsetting. I absolutely love the shoes reguardless, just upset with the piling.
These shoes exceeded my expectations. Compared to regular running shoes when lifting weights these shoes provided the extra support. They are quite stiff and not very flexible at first but over time once broken in they are quite comfortable.
Overall this is a great shoe - I would recommend it and it feels and looks like a premium shoe. Buy if you want a high quality shoe with great traction, good impact protection and support. Avoid if you want something minimal and light or hate having your toes bang against the forefoot. Here is my breakdown: Comfort - between the neoprine ankle collar, boost cushion and Primeknit they are quite comfortable. Traction - best I have tried! Works well on clean or dusty floors, minimal wiping need to keep the outsole sticky (I have the solid outsole shoe though - the translucent may attract some more dust). Fit - a bit narrow and long - if you have a wider foot the Primeknit is a better option but I would try in the store. Lockdown - heel lockdown is fine but I find my foot sliding forward in the shoe. Thus, I end up banging my toes on the front of the shoe at times and it would have been nice if the inner shoe had more padding there or if my foot was just locked in better in the mid and forefoot. In the defense of the shoe, I think any shoe with traction this good will probably cause your foot to shift inside the shoe. Support - A good deal of support around the heel plus a raised section of the outsole on the outer portion of the forefoot keeps your foot for tipping over or moving much laterally. Cushion - Fantastic in the heel area - great impact protection without being too soft. The boost thins out a lot in the forefoot and they use a hard stobel piece in between the boost in the insole so the forefoot cushion is pretty firm and responsive - I would have preferred the forefoot to be softer but it still has some compression to absorb impact. Looks - they look great, can wear them on and off the court no problem. Durability/Quality - I haven't had them for long so I can't say for sure but the build quality seems quite high (the outsole rubber does not seem meant for outdoor play though). There is also some coverage on top of the Primeknit on the outside of the medial toe to keep the material from ripping if you drag your toes. Other thoughts - the shoe is pretty heavy and you notice it on your foot so I would think some might find it bulky feeling.
I bought these shoes for marathon training and I am now on my second pair. They are the perfect balance of comfort for longer runs, combined with speed. I also now need only one shoe for training and racing! Brilliant.
Best basketball shoe I've worn to date. I usually go for a shoe that supports the ankle as well as overall comfort . I got a size bigger than what I normally wear and it feels great. Not too big or too wide which was something I was afraid of getting a bigger size.
I have narrow feet & this shoe is a God send. Because the center isn't attached to the bottom of the shoe, I don't have a problem with my foot sliding. The back does rub initially but after a 2 weeks of wearing them I don't notice
Had to put my Boosts from last year to rest and upgraded to the PureBOOST. These are undoubtedly the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They literally feel like they are part of my body. So lightweight, extremely comfortable and the design is so so cool. I have had multiple strangers compliment these shoes which is rare in lower Manhattan. I highly recommend these for running, cardio or just as your everyday go to if you are fortunate enough to wear sneakers to the office. :-)
Hopefully your game is ready to elevate to the next level. Sky's the limit with the feel and touch these boots provide. People notice these beauty's. No break in time as they feel like slippers out of the box. Can't wait to wear them again tonight at indoor. Open the curtain because it's show time!
I really like these, I prefer my shoes to be really "grippy". They perfectly fitted my form of running and gave me really unexpected stability. Wish I had a pair myself. They are indeed the best I ever tried.
I am 5ft 7 and like long tops to train in. This top is a good length however I have a big bust and I didn't find this top flattering as good proportion of my bra was showing due to suck large arm holes. I had to return. But lovely material.
These are just so very comfortable. My go-to running sneakers for several years was the Adizero Adios. I don't care for the new boost model of that shoe; something changed in the feel and support. Although these sit a little higher, they are my current fav; have 2 pair (and bought 2 more for family members). I'm not sure how the quality will play out. On my Adios, the mesh top eventually got holes, although it took a while. Will be curious to see how long the bounce sole has bounce.
Seeing how these are never seeing a court... they're just too pretty! Gorgeous and they feel amazing. As with all adidas ...half a size down and your A+. Design and concept is different and I love it.
The shoe looks really cool when you open the box. I put them on and there is a lot of room. Which can be good for a training shoe like this, however, there's so much room the shoe pinches on the inside of the foot. I am going to try and go a 1/2 size smaller and see if that works. I like that adidas is making a training shoe like this though. I hope I can get it to work!
These babies are as hard as a rock. Like I could throw them at someone's head and they would most likely knock out. That's exactly what I want in a pair of squat shoes. They also look super clean. However, I did have to exchange for half a size up. I am a 9 in women's but I had to get an 8 in men's in these because in the 7 1/2's my big toe was getting crushed at the front. I understand these are supposed to be very fitted but that was definitely not the right fitting. But it seems like I am the only one with the problem of them being too small so I might just have very long, thin feet. Altogether, these shoes are a must have if you squat very often.
A great shoe. Hard and firm sole. Good support in the ankle and under the arch. High quality materials. The only thing I would change is in the item description saying the thickness/height of the heel.
Cosmetically it's a nice shoe and they look very well built, but every time I use them I get a pain in my right calf. I tried lifting in another shoe for a while and as soon as I switched back to these the pain returned. There goes a lot of money!
Excellent tights, comfortable, good quality and price, they are my best friend in the gym. In the future I'm going to buy more, other products too! All my sports clothes and shoes are ADIDAS!!! The best!
Colors, comfort and durability. At first the shoes felt tighter but as I worked out, it stretched to the right extent making it one of the most comfortable shoes. I even use it for my other training as well apart from weights .
It's true to size! The shoes are well designed. I like how the shoe conforms to my feet. It is very very comfortable! I've always ran using the Free RN from another brand and this PureBoost X ATR are far more superior and more comfortable for running!
Intermediate lifter, I have had issues with my knees and lower back in the past, these shoes are perfect for squatting. Haven't noticed any issues with my knees or lower back since I started using these, would recommend!
the toe box seems wider in the 6, so for me it's been the comfiest shoe to date. Lots of feedback from the road, while providing adequate cushioning and support. Lightweight for 5k's up to the marathon. Recently ran a 2:44 marathon in them, so pretty happy with that!
For serious weightlifting shoes, your main options are the Adipowers or Romaleos. Personally, I've stuck with the Adipowers, and I haven't been disappointed. I already own one pair, and picked up another for my rotation. For squatting, snatching, and clean & jerking, they're tough to beat
I have been using the shoes since last year, they are very comfortable, rigid enough to support lifted weights. The only one request I have is the possibility to have choice to bay same type shoes with different hills high, it is having choice between 0. 75 inch and 0. 6 inch.
