The color and design of this bra was attractive so I decided to try it. Unfortunately, despite the flattering and comfortable fit of the chest band and cups, the straps were just terrible. I was looking to replace some worn out thin strap bras with a few of these bras, but my old bras proved to be more comfortable and durable. I purchased the blue color and the straps were less than supportive and pieces of blue fabric flaked off the straps when I tried to adjust them. The little oblong plastic loops the straps ran through kept turning and twisting the straps when tension was applied. Also, the material chafes quite a bit on my 6 mile run. All of these things added up to much dissatisfaction with this purchase. It had to go back.
Perfect fit & this is indeed a very supportive bra (I use it for running). The print & fit is so good you could also use it as swum wear (the front is quite padded). I bought it to give it a shot & I am absolutely in love with it. The only downside to it (which is fixable) is having the tags on the side of the armpit
Love this product! As size 8 and 32C I purchased size XS and it was a perfect fit. Really flattering and great support, would definitely reccomend. Works perfectly with 'basic Strappy tank top' as both have the same back design.
When I bought this bra I was scared it was a little too big. However it fits amazing. Super comfy and has a lot more support then I thought! I'm small chested though so not much is needed though. Holds in place without being too tight and hard to take off:) It goes amazing with my adidas three stripe soccer pants too;)
I own a few older models of the Techfit bras, and they work very well for me. I run in them, workout at the gym, and wear them during yoga. I use the medium size and medium strength bra. The older ones are a bit looser than this one, but it fits well enough. I think it will loosen a little with regular wear. Also, the chest seam is a bit higher than the older ones. As a size reference, my normal bras are 32DD.
I find the sizing of this sports bra very odd... I ordered an XS and found that while it fit well once I got it on, actually putting it over my head/shoulders was a bit of a struggle (it stretches very little). Getting it off after working out was even more difficult. But I don't feel like I needed a small, and in fact wonder if it would still be a problem because as mentioned, this bra fit fine once I got it over my shoulders (which are not especially wide, mind you). So while the overall quality of the product seems quite good, I have some reservations about this product due to the difficulty of putting it on/taking it off...
I love all the supernova sports bras. But the Boston Marathan (only one in hot pink) fits much tighter than the regular supernovas. I confirmed this with a rep after receiving. I am a medium, and certain a large will be too big. Make more colors in the original supernova Please!
I purchased two of these bras in August 2015 and LOVE them, but since then they redesigned the bra. Now the band isn't tight enough, and the breast area doesn't provide enough give, so I feel completely smashed without enough support under the bust.
I have a couple of other adidas bras, which I find very comfortable. This one is even more comfortable though, if that's possible! The bra is slightly longer in the body, which I think makes it more comfortable. I use the bra for cross & strength training. It washes well - I use the sports cycle on my washing machine. I would recommend & definitely buy again!
I never thought in a million years I'd purchase a sports bra for $40. I'm not top heavy so the ones I usually buy on clearance at Walmart or Target suits me just fine. I decided to pick one of these up after feeling it in the store and liking the feel. I wore the sports bra today for the first time. I did a hour cardio today and although I sweated, I noticed my body was cool therefore I wasn't dripping as I should have been. Although being active in the gym, wanting to see your hard work by way of sweat, it was great not to feel the sweat running down my body as usual. I also felt as if I had extra energy since my body remained so cool. Ladies, skip a mani/pedi or 2 to get this sports bra and thank me later
Great high impact support. Finally sewn in cup protection that stays put in the wash! Well done adidas! Comfortable straps with no band irritation. Nice cut neckline and recommend small size for B cup with wide back and shoulders.
I like the fit and if there is a back hook closure, it would be more easy to put it on without stretching the garment especially if your upper body is muscular. For women of slim built, this is the best fit for you. By the way, this sports bra is not padded at all, it may show .
I really, really like it. It's great quality, fits very comfortably and has more padding and support than what I thought it would. So far I've had no problems with it at all so I'm very happy with it.
I really like this crop top. The fit and length are great. However, I think the name of the piece is misleading because this top has no support. Even for women with smaller cups, your nippies might show...I would not wear this for any king of intense activity that involves jumping or anything of that short without an actual sport bra underneath. That's what I did and it's perfect!
The bra has more support and padding than I thought it would have. It's says for use with light exercise but I have used it for crossfit and had no problems what so ever, love the fit at the back, prefer it if to my other sports bras.
I bought this sports bra because it was the closest one to the Supernova climacool version I bought a few years ago. It is the absolute best sports bra I've ever owned. I wear an XL and it fit great, covered the cleavage appropriately and while I wouldn't say it "looked" just like a regular bra, it is the closest I've ever seen to NOT being a uniboob bra. Lol. This bra is almost identical, except it is a little lower cut and shows more cleavage than I care to have in my sports bra. I will definitely wear and it and it is a comfortable bra, but the older version is my preferred sports bra. Hope they make an adjustment on the next version. We larger women should at least have one made for us.
I was really happy to receive this bra because it's a great fit and perfect for most of my workouts (except for maybe long runs; I'd recommend something with more support for hardcore runners). So I promptly cut the tags off and wore it. However, the stub left by the tags was so thick (it is in about 6 different languages and the tags are a little stack) that it actually rubbed my back so much that now I have a sore scab there. I had to rip out the tags but it did take out some stitches. I hope it doesn't make a hole in future. This should really be considered in how tags are sewn into garments like this - take a cue, Adidas, from other brands who instead put really long, easily removed (without damage) tags. Kind of a bummer, actually. The straps also left red marks on my shoulders where some of the stitching was done in a rough thread.
As a marathon runner, I train 6 days a week so my sports bras have to stand up to a lot of wear. I'm small-chested, so it is hard to find a product that does not chafe underneath my breasts and along the sides. I've worn this bra for about a week of training and am happy to report that is provides both support and comfort without restricting movement. And the best part of all is no chafing! I'll be buying more of this style.
