micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
I think the glide boost 8 is an improvement on the 7 version. Fit is the same but shoe feels more comfortable due to the improved tongue and heel fabrics. Excellent training shoe for high mileage runners and highly recommend it.
The shoes look great and as expected with the boost technology are very comfortable to walk on. However areas such as the tongue and the heal are a little too tight so would recommend buying a 1/2 size larger than usual if possible.
Best pair of shoes I bought in a long while. I work in the film industry and we do alot of walking outdoors. These shoes are perfect on all conditions, love the traction on it when I am working on slippery areas.
I want to love them, they are the comfiest, but they squeak soooo much it's ridiculous! I work at a hospital and everywhere I go it sounds like I have water in my shoes. For $180 a pair they should not squeak like that. Also when training indoors the insole slips within the shoe. So disappointed.
I'm a mail carrier and I walk 10 miles a day and these shoes are very light and comfortable. In the past the shoes I purchased from Adidas were too narrow in the toe area but on this shoe it seems like Adidas improved and made wider.
I've run in Supernova Sequence shoes for a few years, and every time the old pair are ready to "retire," the newer versions just blow me away with all the improvements! Great reflective material on the sides of the runner, and amazingly comfortable with outstanding support as always. These fit like a glove!
I have skinny skinny feet and these things are super snug. The laces are pointless because there's a band that goes over the top of your foot that tightens the shoe. Also, get a half size up, I has to send mine back and get a bigger size. It wasnt even close to normal size for me.
First, the shoe is a great combination of cushion and response. The transition is seamless between foot plant and toe-off. Second, the upper is very comfortable. While the forefoot is a little narrow for me there are no friction points because the material works with the foot and is very forgiving. Great shoe, wish Adidas had a trail version.
One of the best shoes I've run in for awhile. Fresh out the box comfort. Good support, while remaining lightweight. Anyone who regularly gets adidas knows the 1/2 size adjustment (U.S.) so the fit was perfect. I've had a hard time taking them off and instead leaning towards buying a second pair.
I like adidad brand much. Last year i bought a shoe from adidas online which was in clearance and im using it till date. Perfect quality long lasting usable. Adidas offers discount then and there. Still looking forward to buy new products if i get high discounts
This shoe is perfect for me. I hope Adidas continues to make this shoe without changing much. The last shoe I used was a different brand and was way too cushy and soft and actually ended up causing foot and ankle pain. I switched to the Supernova Glide Boost 8 based on a recommendation and couldn't be happier. I've been running with this shoe for a couple months now. The shoe is supportive, comfortable, and still manages to be responsive. The Boost material is phenomenal. I highly recommend this shoe.
This shoe is as solid as it looks....tough in every way. The outer sole is massive and extends a fair bit beyond the heel width of the shoe and will surely provide excellent traction on any type of flat or inclined surface. I've never regretted any ADIDAS purchase and that includes this one!!
I have had my ultra boosts for about a month now while running 12-25 miles a day as well as wearing them casually. They have shown no wear and tear and feel as comfortable as the first day I got them. These are such nice shoes and have made me not want to leave adidas for my future shoe purchases.
The Boost cushioning in these feel amazing with a caveat. While the Boost in the heel feels really squishy and amazing, the forefoot Boost is much, much thinner and can't be felt nearly as much as the Boost cushioning in the heel area. The effect of the firmer forefoot cushioning is amplified by the fact that there is a drop from the heel to the toe area (which in and of itself isn't necessarily a bad thing), which shifts a little more weight to the forefoot area. As far as fit goes, I generally wear size 8.5 or 9 and the Pure Boost in 8.5 gives me that great 1-to-1 fit with minimal dead space in front of and above my toes. The material of the upper is fairly stretchy and conforms to the foot which makes these shoes really accommodating to semi-wide-footers like me. Adidas, please implement softer and thicker boost in the forefoot in the Pure Boost 3 (if such a product is in the works)! I'm sure adding a little bit more forefoot boost won't sacrifice ride stability too much (especially considering most people will use these for walking/casual use and not hard core running). Beefier forefoot Boost, please! Forefoot! Forefoot!
This shoe is comfortable and looks good. The only con, is that there really is no support if you are running in them. I have out at least 20-30 miles on these and I have hurt my ankle a few times because there is really no support.
Well I usually wear 7.5 when I ordered this , it felt like 6.. I put it next to any 7.5 showes and it looked tiny.. I think probably you have to be at least size 10+ to be able to wear this as its design make it look even smaller !!
Like it for: 1) Robust built, you would feel the strength of the shoe -not something that will wear away in months 2) Design 3)Super arch support for stability, especially for flat feet. Dislike for: I wear size 10, but 10 was loose fit so 9.5 was a better fit. Still, the big toe touches the top of the shoe often during running/walking. On the other hand, at the rear its not a great fit, somewhat loosens/slips during lift off of the feet from ground.Probably the reason is, it is build more for stability than flexibility and that has lead to a more rigid built which does not fit to the changing foot shape during running/walking.
A total upgrade from it's predecessor from the materials, aesthetically and more boost cushion. The only negative about this is they are not true to size, you have to down half a size at least in my opinion. But wide footers will definitely enjoy this
Over the past year I've tried the ultra boost (not enough support) and the sequence boost (too bulky) and I finally found the perfect running shoe for me. I've been running 4-8 miles in these every day for 2 weeks and they've been holding up great. As you can see from the picture the only part that has been wearing down is the plastic torsion system in the middle, but that's not a big deal. If you don't run on rocky trails like I do this wouldn't be a problem for you. Overall this shoe is great!
I run around 25 miles a week typically on the road but sometimes on a treadmill. They have lasted me over 500 miles and still feel brand new. There was a short period of time where I would have serious ankle pain on the outside of my right ankle when I put them on. After resting for a week though the pain went away and never came back. For me they fit perfectly from day one. Had no problem once they were broken in with blisters, and were the first pair of shoes I have ever worn that I didn't have knee pain after a run.
I am 6 foot two 250 pounds and my whole body aches all the time. I know I'm a little hefty but all I ask is that I have comfortable shoes and lately with Mikey I just haven't been getting that. I bought some tennis shoes a while ago that had the ultra boost technology in them and I was surprised by how comfortable they were so I decided to invest $120 and a comfortable pair of shoes and after doing research I found these pureboost 2 shoes. Streamley comfortable shoes a little bit on the higher side of the pricing little bit more than that for your own time however the comfort level is out of this world no moreneed pain ankle pain in heel pain these shoes are like walking on a cloud all day.
Snagged these on a whim because I heard they were comfortable. Great quality shoe, extremely comfortable with amazing cushion. Runs a little narrow at the arch of my foot but otherwise they're perfect. Liked them so much I bought a second pair a week later. (Word to the wise: Skip paying for faster shipping. I went with free shipping on the 2nd pair and they took 3 days to get to my door as opposed to the week it took for the "2-3" day shipping I paid extra for.)
The shoe without a doubt looks very nice and the boost technology feels great. However this shoe is not the best for running. The toe box is small and the shoe is narrow. Hopefully with more wear they will break in.
Adidas Supernova Glide 8 This is the shoe I have been looking for. If you are a runner you fully understand what I’m talking about here. We all seek ”that” shoe that will contribute to the pleasures of running, and not just another pair of shoes that will enable you to run. Yes, this shoe enables you to run, but dang it is the most comfortable shoe I’ve had to date. I put in over 50 miles a week on the road…which is difficult on it’s own, since it is road running after all …not trail. But these shoes have really changed my outlook on the road. Quality: I have probably 150 miles on these so far and no major sign of wear and tear. I was worried about the Continental sole, since I had heard it wears fast, I have not experienced this. It’s funny that I talked trash on these shoes before trying them, saying the Boost was a scam. Trust me, it is no scam. We will see if it breaks down, supposedly it does not….it’s like magic. Score 5/5 Comfort: There is a reason why this shoe was voted Runner's World Editor's Choice twice. Fit is snug, not as snug as a Salomon Sense Pro. That said it is not tight in anyway, so wider feet peeps I would not worry too much, the mesh upper I think will adapt nicely. The toe box is no Altra, so if you are looking the spread the toes this is not the shoe. Good ventilation so far, but haven’t had them in temp’s over 90 yet…and not looking forward to that anyways… Weighing in at 10.7 ounces (size 9) I really wish they were a bit lighter, but for an everyday runner it’s within range of competitors. Also, I would rather have a great shoe that weights 10.7 than a bad shoe that weights 9. Score 5/5 Price: At $130 Retail - this is a great price for the Boost line. Anything above this is my tipping point though. 5/5 Looks: Adidas always keeps it so fresh and so clean. Score 5/5 Overall: 20/20
Most comfortable shoes i've ever had. i wear them everywhere now and don't ever want to take them off. i recommend using them for casual wear and walking. the outsole probably won't last too long running and it's a little tippy due to the enormous amount of boost. you are walking on clouds though and i feel like i'm wearing super comfy slippers all day.
