I was pretty sad that I have to return them. They fit too big for me and I was reallyyyyy looking forward to wearing them. I'll be getting a size 6 HOPING that they fit me well. I really do like how they fit though!
Good lifting shoes. Lots of support, very comfortable for lifting and okay for walking in between lifts, a little awkward due to stiffness and heel however. Slight defect in toe box detracts from quality score.
These shoes exceeded my expectations. Compared to regular running shoes when lifting weights these shoes provided the extra support. They are quite stiff and not very flexible at first but over time once broken in they are quite comfortable.
Great versatile gym shoe. I bought these to replace mt Powerlift 2.0 shoes which were a bit narrow and so uncomfortable when doing anything explosive where your foot pushes into the front of the shoe. These have a wide front which makes them much more comfortable. I typically use these for weight training or plyometric style training and the thinner, less cushioned sole is ideal but I'm not sure how they'd fare on a treadmill, for example.
These started to fall apart almost immediately. Everywhere I walk around the house there are little blue pegs behind me like breadcrumbs. Sadly they would be the best slides I ever had if not but for how quickly they have fallen apart. I was going to clean them before submitting the pick but thought for the sake of authenticity - regarding the fact that I have only worn them in the house and getting the mail - hence the grass - this is what I would consider "light use"...
Similar to Nanos, flat foot and very wide toe box. They look amazing and appear to be very durable. The black / red ones are more of a red-orange color with a dark navy blue on the sole. The sole is not entirely all black.
I would recommend going up half a size from whatever your Ultraboost size is. I'm an 8.5 US in Ultraboosts, so I ordered these in an 8.5 as well. However when I received them they were quite tight. Apart from that, they look and feel great! I will definitely be exchanging these for a slightly larger size.
Ordered a 10.5 but was really tight so returned with no problems. Ordering an 11 and expect them to be perfect. Looked very very well made of high quality materials. Gutted I have to wait again for the new pair.
It does the job making powerlifting, especially squatting, more comfortable. Having a stable platform is beneficial for almost any weightlifting exercise. Just don't try running in these. The size was a bit too small, since I always wear 42EU but these were just a bit too short in length. You may consider ordering 1/2 size larger than what you normally wear, but take note that these shoes are supposed to be tight.
one of the best shoes for lifting, the only minus point here for me is the toes part, its not really comfortable, kinda narrow there, this make u need to fix your size up to about 1/2. except this trait, the others are perfect. nothing to complain, and ofc its much nicer and better than pwl 2.0. Another one is the actual is nicer than the shoes in online picture. they are good shoes with this price for me.
These babies are as hard as a rock. Like I could throw them at someone's head and they would most likely knock out. That's exactly what I want in a pair of squat shoes. They also look super clean. However, I did have to exchange for half a size up. I am a 9 in women's but I had to get an 8 in men's in these because in the 7 1/2's my big toe was getting crushed at the front. I understand these are supposed to be very fitted but that was definitely not the right fitting. But it seems like I am the only one with the problem of them being too small so I might just have very long, thin feet. Altogether, these shoes are a must have if you squat very often.
Brilliantly stable, sticky and solid. Squats felt horrific at first as the improved posture meant I activated new muscles! But with a bit of coaching (recommend to speak to someone who has used them beforehand and get some tips), they felt great. More stable and more powerful than ever with better form, explosiveness and form. They aren't the prettiest, but do just as good a job for a beginner/intermediate as a £150+ pair would. Would definitely buy again!
A great shoe. Hard and firm sole. Good support in the ankle and under the arch. High quality materials. The only thing I would change is in the item description saying the thickness/height of the heel.
I wanted a light weight, cool shoe which this one certainly is. I had no idea that the floating arch would be of immediate benefit to the plantar fasciitis that I had been suffering from for the previous 6 months. Even when you are sitting the floating arch is at work hugging your foot. It feels wonderful when sitting, standing AND walking. (I am not a runner.)
Cosmetically it's a nice shoe and they look very well built, but every time I use them I get a pain in my right calf. I tried lifting in another shoe for a while and as soon as I switched back to these the pain returned. There goes a lot of money!
I bought half a size up by reading these reviews and it was a huge mistake. buy your normal workout shoes size. The comfort is amazing, shoes are light. I wanted yeezys but refused to support Kanye so this is a great alternative
Colors, comfort and durability. At first the shoes felt tighter but as I worked out, it stretched to the right extent making it one of the most comfortable shoes. I even use it for my other training as well apart from weights .
Intermediate lifter, I have had issues with my knees and lower back in the past, these shoes are perfect for squatting. Haven't noticed any issues with my knees or lower back since I started using these, would recommend!
An absolute brilliant choice for a lifting shoe. Price is great compared to other choices, they look great and whilst they may not have as much heel height as others the difference is negligible for those of us who are not powerlifters. Seem to narrow at the toe box and with wide feet I had to exchange for a half size larger but process was free and painless
I have always bought training sneakers from another company before, but this time around couldn't find one that I liked, so I looked to Adidas. When I first bought the sneaker I was very excited. I liked that it has excellent arch support for a shoe, and both the flexibility and stability of the shoe. However, after wearing the shoe for a couple of weeks, the sneaker stretched out and became too big for my foot, causing pain in my knees due to lack of stability in the shoe. The build of the shoe is also made poorly. The shoe fabric is all frayed by the ankle hole. I am very disappointed, especially for my first experience with this company and will most likely not be buying again.
For serious weightlifting shoes, your main options are the Adipowers or Romaleos. Personally, I've stuck with the Adipowers, and I haven't been disappointed. I already own one pair, and picked up another for my rotation. For squatting, snatching, and clean & jerking, they're tough to beat
This shoe is great. The colorway goes with a lot. It is really comfortable because it has the boost in it, but it not as comfortable as the ultra boost. Still a great shoe, and can wear it all day without my feet hurting.
I have been using the shoes since last year, they are very comfortable, rigid enough to support lifted weights. The only one request I have is the possibility to have choice to bay same type shoes with different hills high, it is having choice between 0. 75 inch and 0. 6 inch.
I was hesitant to buy weightlifting shoes online. Never having tried a pair on and relying on pictures only, I had it in my mind that they would be stiff and uncomfortable. Boy, was I wrong. Very comfortable and very stable. My first pair was missing an eyelet, but got them swapped via a return and 2nd purchase. Adidas handled that process very fairly.
