They are probably the best boots you can buy now a days they're not all plasticky like other boots because they are proper leather I have had mine for over a year and they are still in perfect quality you have to give Adidas a pat on the back for this
Ordered two pairs of Gloro Boots both with personalisation. Boots delivered in rapid time. Quality is excellent. For me just as good as Copa Mundial Boot. Definitely recommend these boots. Very soft leather and super comfortable. If you're a Copa Mundial fan like me, these are every bit as good. Like slippers.
I got my Samba's for my 13th birthday back in like 2005 (i'm 23). Samba's are THE UTILITY SNEAKER! Everyday wear, pick-up games, lifting shoes whatever. Surprisingly one of my favorite shoes to commute via bicycle on because of the sole's ruggedness. These shoes have been with me through college, trips through the middle east, and i'm still wearing them today in the gym and around town. Dear Adidas, Thank you. P.S. If we could get some white colour on the gum sole, you'd make one happy boy.
Bought these boots a week ago and came in good time. Haven't tried them out yet on the pitch but look to be good, only thing I would say is that because they are leather they are likely to stretch after wearing them a few times so would get 1/2 size bigger next time.
Lovely quality boot for the price however if I was to buy this boot again I would definitely go 1/2 a size down because I like the snug fit feel, when you go for the size based on the adidas size table there is a slight but noticeable feeling that there is room for your foot to move around in the boot which I feel gives you less control when playing. Overall though I would definitely recommend this boot!
Having bought these online without trying them on based on the other reviews, I was very pleased with how comfortable the boots were. They are probably the most comfortable football boots I have worn in my 20 years of playing the game. The leather is very soft and helps with touch and close control. I would highly recommend these boots, they also look great when personalised.
Probably the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. Leather is very soft and fits around my foot perfectly. Fits similarly to the Copa Mundials but I feel like the base is much firmer and offers much more support
Let's keep this simple - the fit was perfect for me (size 7) and the boots are very comfortable. Worn them a few times now and seem to be wearing ok. Performance-wise they are light and offer a good touch with good grip. Love them so far.
An incredibly comfy boot, but the width is far too narrow. I am using an 11, but a 10 .5 should be big enough if the boots were wider. I am still in 2 minds whether I should keep them. It is so good to be able to get a boot, that does not look like it has been attacked by a graffiti artist, but the narrowness of the boot, my consign the boots for the return label.
Best indoor football boots around apparently. My first thoughts are that they do appear to be a great purchase if you are looking for some football boots to play indoor football. You can feel the quality as soon as you put them on they are very comfortable and made from soft leather so they should fit like a glove and should loosen up a bit after a few more games of wearing them. At £80 they are not cheap but I suppose quality costs and managed to get 20% off them with a recent adidas promotion, so look out for future promotions to get them at an even better price!
Comfort, grip, touch, and power. I highly recommend you hit the Adidas Employee store and drop the $55. I just might pick up a second pair to last me forever. These grip better than nubby turfs shoes on turf fields with the black rubber in them. I did not slip once even on some of the more 'rubbery' spots of the pitch. The Boost sole is great for those harder Futsal surfaces. My feet and knees thank me for it. I actually would give these 4.5 stars instead of 5 due to the fact that the foot bed is too narrow and pinches on the sides of my feet. I assume once these break in a bit they will be fine. The toe box is perfect. The laces do tend to come untied, make sure you double knot them nice and tight. GET THESE NOW
Having just started playing Futsal in town I picked up some Sambas. A year later and a thousands kicks I purchased the ACE5.3 Indoor Shoes. They did exactly what I wanted in this upgrade - flatter to get under the ball. I've had a few games in these so far and they hold up to Adidas standards in shoes meant for ball play.
Great: +light +great ball-feel across the top of the shoe +low profile +tacky bottom for ball control Not as great: -stock laces come undone too easy, even after double-knotting. Will probably swap them for AMO Customs -the Boost adds to the price and not to the performance...I was really hoping these would make for great, shock-absorbing street boots -this is a 'knock' against all the new Boost indoor shoes...too narrow. I tried the X15.1, the Messi 15.1 and the mi X 15.1 CT. Everything is so narrow now. -even though this was wide enough in the toe-box, my foot was still being "squeezed" from the sides. I don't know what's going on or if Adidas has different foot models they use now but their shoes are too tight. I supposed if I was wearing the new compression Prime Knit I would understand but these synthetic shoes are going to take forever to break in. My only suggestion is not to order online but to try them out in person. And don't buy too big just to negate the narrow feeling...you will hinder your touch in a longer boot.
Very comfortable shoe with a reasonable weight so striking ball over distance is easy. The soft leather forefoot makes for a good first touch and helps with measuring weight when spraying passes from the centre of the field. Due to the wide fit and K-leather toe-box the shoe requires no break in time.
I've been looking for a pair of Black and White Gloro for a little while now and checked the usual sites for boots. Found my size on the Adidas site, the process was really smooth, I was kept right up to date on the delivery and everything that was promised was fulfilled. The boots are top drawer, I've had a knee op and needed to get some boots that were going to be suitable for the 3G/ artificial as well as turf. I had to be specific as I'd torn my meniscus after an ACL recon previously, blades get stuck in the turf and caused problems. The Gloros are perfect. For anyone whose had knee problems in the past it's a boot that works for artificial, the stud means the boots don't get stuck in the ground so don't encourage twisting of the knee. Really really pleased with the product, the process was spot on. Scored in my first game as well, so far so good!! On size, I've got wide feet, I bought a size ten, so they feel quite narrow at the moment, but I know from having copas in the past they do open up, so I'm hoping they give a little.
At first they were a bit tight but after a few training sessions and games they've molded to my foot and are much more comfortable now. The one really nice thing about this shoe in relation to others is that the sole is quite thin and the front of the shoe is much closer in feel to a classic cleat than it is to a sneaker. The touch is nice and the thin sole means you have a more direct contact with the ball and the floor. Overall they're quite comfortable but the tightness of the shoe limits the insoles you can use with these. Plan ahead and buy a half size larger if you need to wear insoles. As for the look I'm not a big fan of these super bright and super loud boots. I'm sure a younger player would enjoy the style better. The one thing that struck me was how synthetic looking the synthetic components of this shoe are. I'm a fan of leather personally. Overall I purchased them because they were fairly cheap and I needed a pair to play indoor ASAP. For the price I paid (about 50$ USD) I found these to be worthwhile. If you can get them for less even better.
Boots will require a bit of wearing in. I have wide feet(2E) and they molded to my feet after a few wears. Very light for a k leather boot. When choosing a size it is slightly smaller than normal. I normally wear US9 with a bit of room at the front. i bought US8.5 in the boot and its just right (might be tight for some)
Massively impressed with the grip from this outsole. Played on artificial grass, turf, and even hard ground natural grass. Whether wet or dry I cannot complain about the grip. Cut as hard as I ever do last night and still held up perfectly. With where I live and play I'm not sure i'll ever need a different sole. I can only hope and pray that Adidas keeps making boots with this sole. As for the boot - it's a leather upper and a bit snug for its size, but with leather that's EXACTLY what I want. It's moulding nicely to my foot. Good price point for an excellent shoe. I expect it to last me a good few years.
It was time to finally buy a new pair of boots & would of loved a new pair of pred's but with the new style of predator boot it was not to be! It had to be a pair of Gloro's! Only worn them once straight out of the box for 6 aside on 5G pitch. Very comfortable, good fit, the toe area is slightly bigger than my old pred's which is not a bad thing. I can easily wear 2 pairs of socks with these boots which is a bonus. I would definitely recommend the Gloro's to anyone looking for a new pair of boots, especially fans of pred's!
There name sums these boots up in one word ACE! There the best boots I've ever worn the leather gives these boots a traditional feel to the ball but with all the lightweight qualities of a modern boot!
Been around this game for a few years and have had my share of cleats. This was my first turf shoe as most of the fields I play on now are artificial grass. I can only tell you that it is one of the most comfortable shoes you will ever wear to play the beautiful game. They fit like a glove. Make sure you order half a size larger as they tend to run a bit on the small size.
I was planning to buy the new Messi turf shoes, but the toe box was too tight for me. The Ace 15.3 was a better fit for me. I haven't worn them in a match, but the touch/feel while testing at home is very good
I rated these cleats a 5 star because of the overall superior comfort, support. The feel and touch on the ball is Glooorious. The K leather is up to par and the synthetic heal is a non-issue. I have a slightly wide foot for a size 9 so I ordered a 9.5 since I wear 2 sets of socks. Cons: The laces are good and strong but a bit short. I can only make a small tie and they came loose a few times. The insole is good but I can feel the studs underneath just a bit. No pressure points though. Seems like these cleats will last a while with some basic care.
I seriously am lost for words I usually wear f50s (as a centre back) not really what is recommended but they used to feel comfortable and light without the bulk of other adidas brands like the new synthetic predators etc I used to wear 10.5 (UK) size for the f50 and then slowly found that the small extra space was annoying and making me scoop the ball when i needed to hit it long So i tried a pair of gloros in a size 10 that a friend had, they fit perfectly Went on to buy my own pair from Adidas.com (in black/red with personalisation for FREE!) Boots came in 5 working days Fit snug when I put them on, trained with them and for the first 5 mins they felt a little bit tight...but then as you get with Leather, they adjusted to the shape of my foot extremely quickly. It felt like i was wearing nothing at all on my feet, so soft and comfy, lightweight too relatively speaking for what they are and the amount of comfort they provide The ball feel is just absolutely unreal! Boots should always be like this! synthetic materials are ruining the touch of the ball on your foot, but these give you that love and feel for that first touch, BEAUTIFUL! Can't wait to be out on the pitch again soon, they're that addictive! Thanks ADIDAS!
I've been playing soccer for over 20 years and I had worn several shoes in the past, and this are probably the best shoes I have ever worn, They fit true to size. Although they are comfortable out of the box, I recommend to break them in before you take them into a serious game. The shoes fit snug and comfortable, they feel very responsive, solid, stable and protective, the touch on the ball is amazing, perfect for controling, dribbling, passing and shooting, the outsole is incredible, provides an excellent traction in FG and AG and a decent traction in HG and SG. The only thing that I didn't like about the shoes were the insoles, they are thin so dont provide good cushioning and they are slippery on your socks. No matter what position you play or what is your style of playing, these well rounded shoes will make you feel confident during 90 min. Adidas Ace Leather are the way to go.
