I bought my pair of Ultra Boost back in April and now have over 300 miles on them. The shoes have far exceed expectations. I have been running exclusively in adidas boost products for over two years now. When these were coming out for release I was a little bit skeptical mainly due to the price. I got to run a couple of test miles in a pair of ultras and quickly realized it was the real deal shoe. The upper knit is super comfortable and makes for a breathable design on any run. The extra boost material give a comfortable landing on every step. One thing with a boost product is that you can run in the shoe day after day without reduction in the performance of the midsole. The rubber flex sole is a draw back but after three hundred miles the sole has seen a reduction in the rubber knobs but the sole is still in tact. I am thinking that I can get to 800 miles on these shoes. Excited to see what new colors will be coming in 2016. Thanks adidas!!!
I now have 3 pairs of the ultra booat and can't imagine another shoe as comfy as these. I only wear Adidas but the ultra boost are by far the best. Can't get a more comfortable and true to size shoe out there! Defenitly worth the price! Way to go Adidas!
I am not an athletic person, I do try to keep fit. These are my first Boost series shoes and I am never going back to anything else. The fit is fantastic, the grip on the road perfect, the feedback you get on your sole is surprising.
I've taken these shoes with me on a 3-week vacation and have been using them running and city walking. So far they've performed perfectly. Great, true fit, very comfortable, and they really do keep my feet nice and cool. Thoroughly enjoying them after a couple weeks of heavy use.
Really in love with the design and color scheme. These are really comfortable and have a certain mystique because it looks great for casual or for running purposes. I am starting to dig the boost technology. Hire me Adidas? Would love to work at adidas
I run two marathons per year, one in the spring and one in the fall each year. My shoe is the adios. That shoe was moved to boost technology. I purchased my first pair in early 2014, orange and silver, started experiencing slight knee discomfort after my first run, but I thought it was a running technique issue. I raced one marathon in those shoes. Purchased a second, same issue although not as bad. My current pair, purchased in Feb 2015, have caused even more knee discomfort. I wish there was an adios option without boost technology. Otherwise, I'm afraid I am going to move to another shoe maker. I would like to avoid because all my running apparel (running shorts, short and long-sleeve running shirts, socks, pants, jackets, gloves, beanies) are also adidas.
My son started wearing these in early April 2015 and has averaged running about 25 to 30 miles a week since then. After six months the tread wear is pretty even but it is time to replace them. The continental tread is pretty tough and no issues with the upper portion. He races in spikes though. My brother-in-law who is a college cross country coach recommends getting two pairs of training shoes to alternate. Pretty expensive when I have 4 boys and 2 are already involved in XC. However, injuries could prove more expensive.
I absolutely love these shoes and have now purchased in three colors. I have low arches and they provide me the stability I need to do all my workouts. I am not a runner, but I do a lot of weight training and high impact workouts. I find these to be light weight, very supportive and true to size. I also like the color selections, although the pink is much brighter in person and not to my taste.
I use them to referee soccer games. I have used them on wet & dry field turf, also on dry grass. If you are looking for a minimalist upper with a flexible sole, these are great. They are cushy when up on your toes sprinting and cushy for heel strikes. I've put about 60 miles on them with no discernible wear and less knee pain then my previous Nike shoes. Would love to see the "boost" used in a Samba-like shoe to play soccer in.
The shoes are great they fit perfectly and the style is flawless. I don't like how on my right shoe i can be standing, and no matter how I tie, adjust of modify my foot in the shoe, my foot always shifts and it becomes a bit uncomfortable. but other than that, it is a pretty amazing shoe. Great feel and resistance
I have been waiting for a shoe like this, but was not going to pay full price for them, the original price was too much for me. I walk very hard and can wear down shoe very easily and they become very comfortable..... these shoes make me feel like my feet are not really touching the ground. To me it's not like your feet actually "spring" from the ground but more like a barrier from the ground. The material is awesome, it's not leather but not super soft mesh.... it's the right amount of hold and give. It's very breathable and I can wear thick or thin socks. You can really feel your calf muscles working while walking and running.. it's great. I had to purchase a 1/2 size smaller than my normal size because of personal fit. I like my shoes untied and a very snug fit. I've only had them a few weeks and really want to see how they do in different weather environment #I've heard they are slippery when wet# and how well they hold up. I would by more pairs if I could fine more regular colors in my size and on sale. The colors are outrageous and the retail price is tooooo high. I am also giving thought to trying the full blade shoes.. I would recommend to walkers and runners
Runners' World got it right when they named the Supernova Glide Boost 6 as editors pick last year!! The Glide 7 just continues the tradition!! Great shoe of all my workouts, including long runs, tempo sessions and hill reps! Mile after mile, they just keeps propelling my feet forward!!
When I first threw the shoe on it was a little tight on my forefoot but I have fat feet so I wasn't too worried about it. Once I was on the trails I didn't notice the width at all. I took the Raven out to the Appalachian Trail in North Georgia and the shoes performed beautifully! Even during a heavy rainstorm I never doubted my foot placement. There was one section of the trail where I had to cross a large, open, expense of off-camber rock and the shoe didn't slip at all. Definitely worth a go in this bad boy. I don't know if anyone reading this has run in other boosted shoes but it almost felt like having the cushion of an Ultra Boost in the heel and the responsiveness of the Boston Boost in the forefoot... sorry I'm kind of a running geek.
I think these are great running trainers for winter, or even just to move around. The sole is incredibly soft and you feel like you are walking on wool. I have worn them in this relatively warm weather and it might keep you feet a bit too warm but for winter time they are perfect.
These running shoes r the best that ive ever had so far. First of all want to admit that it runs larger, cuz i usually wear us 7 and i ordered 6 and it fits perfectly. I was not sure aboit getting these shoes, but than i thought lemme give a try, it has free shipping/return so why not)) it came in two days (that was pretty quick) and when i tried them on it felt comfortable. But i was wondering how comfortable it would be when running, so i ran on treadmill one mile and i was amazed. First of all its lightweight , second of all those springblades kind of make u run faster, when u put the heel on the ground it just pushes it back and makes u kind of jump, which prolly makes u run faster. Im running at least 8-10 miles every single day, so i was thinking what if they wear out quickly, or the blades get broken and so on)) im using it 1 month already and it looks exactly the same as i recieved. Im very happy with the purchase, thank you!
Great pair of trainers. As someone who has flat feet I have been buying the supernova sequence for years as they are the best shoes at supporting my almost non existent arches. Although these seem to be harder at first, when you start wearing them in there is a definite boost to the spring in your step and they are very comfortable trainers. Highly recommended.
My title pretty much sums it up. First, the good: This has to be one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Appearance is great; Fit is great (I wear 9.5, but went with a half size up and don't regret it). The "sock-like" weave fit is so comfortable, and the boost material really seems second to none. Here's the MAJOR problem: the outer most sole wears faster than any other shoe I've ever owned. I'm generally a fast walker and occasional light jogger. The "nubs" are now completely gone and starting to cause very slippery conditions when wet or on slick surfaces, and I've only had these shoes about 6 months. For the life of me, I wanted to give this shoe a 5-star rating, but for $180, you would think "the greatest running shoe ever" would put a quality and revolutionary outer sole that would last? Why not use your Continental rubber soles like on other Adidas shoes? So disappointed, Adidas.
I am a basketball official, have been for 40 years now. Always looking for the next best thing to help get me up and down the court. Have learned that the lighter the shoe the less I have to carry with me each and every step. That translates into better movement and less fatigue so I can do a better job adjusting to make sure I have the best look possible and get where I need to be to see the entire play each and every time. I work a lot of games in the local high school and youth development leagues around Portland and Vancouver each season. I look to these shoes to get me through the riggers of the game I love. Have yet to actually try them out and will update this at a later time as the new season is coming.
I usually wear other brands and recently, I have been appreciating the models from Adidas this year like the tubular and espically the pure boost 2. I love this shoe for casual wear and I constantly get compliments on these. Let's start off with the cushioning. The boost midsole is very soft and shock absorbent yet still retains its shape throughout every step. There is no insole so you are on top of the boost with opened areas or pods of boosting in the heel and midfoot. I wish the pure boost 3 would have opened areas or pods in the forefoot. Next is the upper, durability, and outsole. The outsole is a soft rubber yet I do not see any signs of damage. The boost is soft but fairly durable, I would just be cautious with it. I have worn these four times a week for a month and I see no damage, except for stains. Buy a bleaching pen and bleach the stains on the boost in order to keep them nice and clean for a year. The upper is soft and harder in the heel or added support. The toecap of the pure boost one was removed, which is kind of disappointing. All in all, it's more comfortable than a roshe, which is amazing. It will hold up for a year and you'll love this product!
These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They do fit a little tight but because of the knit material making it more of a sock feel. I'd recommend going a half size up for more room but overall these shoes are amazing and very stylish as well.
This shoes are great for running and some trail hiking. After some miles of break-ins they seem to conformed with your feet as you use them everyday. Very light and flexible to my feet. Maybe if Adidas will use some real leather they will look great and add more value.
When I first received the shoes, I was a bit disappointed because I wasn't sure if the material quality looks as good as the picture. I kept them still because I really needed a new pair of shoes. THEY RUN SMALL - I have a pair of adidas that were sz8 and they are big on me so I ordered 7.5 for this pair but they are really small!!! I had to make a return and purchased half size bigger. Even sz8 was a bit tight at the beginning but after just wearing them 3 times, they are now perfect! They look SO GOOD with my outfits and they are very comfortable - I especially like that they do not have laces that makes stretching really easy and nice!!! The more I wear them, I love them more!!!
I was looking for new shoes for general work outs, local dry weather trail walking and casual wear. I saw the Kanadia TR7 in numerous colours and then these on offer so I grabbed a pair. These have worked out to be such quality and an amazing bargain. Straight from the box I got no chafing or blisters. I get hot feet and the ventilation on these is amazing. The grip on all surfaces encountered so far has been brilliant. They are also so lightweight it's unreal but so far the soles are more than tough enough from the off reading. I have recommended these to some friends. Well chuffed.
A big fan of how the shoe looks and it gets its fair share of compliments (I wear it casually). It's super light, provides fairly good support, and the mesh cover definitely keeps things cool. A few critiques: The insole moving around is a problem for the first few days but it settles in. A week later, not a problem when putting it on but the insole does still pop when taking the shoe off. I've also found that the lower edge of the shoe (white and red) picks up scuffs pretty easy. They wipe off but kind of annoying. None of this would scare me away from purchasing again.
I tried on a pair at the adidas store. They didn't really have a color way i wanted, saw these online & had to have em. I don't usually wear them with socks but they are easily the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I'd recommend to anyone from those that run or those that just like the way they look and feel.
