Overall this is a great shoe - I would recommend it and it feels and looks like a premium shoe. Buy if you want a high quality shoe with great traction, good impact protection and support. Avoid if you want something minimal and light or hate having your toes bang against the forefoot. Here is my breakdown: Comfort - between the neoprine ankle collar, boost cushion and Primeknit they are quite comfortable. Traction - best I have tried! Works well on clean or dusty floors, minimal wiping need to keep the outsole sticky (I have the solid outsole shoe though - the translucent may attract some more dust). Fit - a bit narrow and long - if you have a wider foot the Primeknit is a better option but I would try in the store. Lockdown - heel lockdown is fine but I find my foot sliding forward in the shoe. Thus, I end up banging my toes on the front of the shoe at times and it would have been nice if the inner shoe had more padding there or if my foot was just locked in better in the mid and forefoot. In the defense of the shoe, I think any shoe with traction this good will probably cause your foot to shift inside the shoe. Support - A good deal of support around the heel plus a raised section of the outsole on the outer portion of the forefoot keeps your foot for tipping over or moving much laterally. Cushion - Fantastic in the heel area - great impact protection without being too soft. The boost thins out a lot in the forefoot and they use a hard stobel piece in between the boost in the insole so the forefoot cushion is pretty firm and responsive - I would have preferred the forefoot to be softer but it still has some compression to absorb impact. Looks - they look great, can wear them on and off the court no problem. Durability/Quality - I haven't had them for long so I can't say for sure but the build quality seems quite high (the outsole rubber does not seem meant for outdoor play though). There is also some coverage on top of the Primeknit on the outside of the medial toe to keep the material from ripping if you drag your toes. Other thoughts - the shoe is pretty heavy and you notice it on your foot so I would think some might find it bulky feeling.
ACE Tango 17.1 are the best trainers I've ever had. But luckily for me I overestimated size of my order since they come very small. With 1 size up they fit perfectly. Not made to play football though, but like the name says, these are a perfect match for fitness training and running.
Best basketball shoe I've worn to date. I usually go for a shoe that supports the ankle as well as overall comfort . I got a size bigger than what I normally wear and it feels great. Not too big or too wide which was something I was afraid of getting a bigger size.
good looking shoe, they also look different in person but not bad. I thought they would've been a little bit more snug fit, seem a little wide. on a comfort level i wouldn't suggest no one wearing for a long period of time, the you can feel the grooves in bottom of shoe after while.
Even nicer in person. Light weight and super comfy. The pattern is major eye catcher. Was a little hesistant at first not sure if I'd still like them when I got them but they're amazing. Really glad I got them. They do run a tad big but didn't feel like it was that big of an issue. Only wore them for like 3 hours and got a ton of compliments on them.
Good shoe but the sizing was poorly explained. I am usually a size 9 in adidas shoes and I ordered a 9.5 in these finding that my foot couldn't even get in them! I was very upset about this and what topped it off was that there were one left in any sizes which I could fit in.
High quality shoes. Very comfortable and has good support all over. This shoe does tend to run narrow. I have wide feet and even with a half size up from my true size, I need to go up 1 full size for feet to feel comfortable. Feels like you can move in any direction.
I got this shoe and i have no clue why people gave it bad reviews. Its far from it. Its comfortable and design is ahead of its time. Plus everyone thinks these are yeezy's. The size you have to get one size less.the only improvement this can have is the heal lock. Which should be widened. Overall a good shoe.
In my opinion, these shoes look just as great in person as they do in the pictures. I get compliments on them every time I wear them; this is definitely one of the nicest shoes in my collection, and the coolest model in the Tubular line in my opinion
Pattern looks larger in person, giving the shoe a different look like others have said. Not horrible, but not what's advertised here. I'm also a 15 in every other shoe, but in all PK shoes I take a 14
No secret by now how comfortable Boost is...so I already expected 5 stars there. What I'm most impressed with is the grip on the translucent outsole. I do a lot of cutting and direction changes on the court and I felt secure the entire time. This was my first Primeknit pair of sneakers and I really dig the fit and flexibility. This won't be my last pair for sure.
This is by far the best pair of basketball shoes I've worn to this date (I've had Jordan28 / 29, D Rose6, Curry 2.. just to name a few). The cushion is a bit firmer compared to DRose 6, but it gives you better court feel, and feels lower to the ground. These are perfect shoes for guards. Love it! Highly recommended!!!, Thanks Adidas!
I actually love the shoe and it's by my favorite athlete/basketball player. My only problem is that it's too narrow for wide feet. Although I've only walkyd around in it for an hour I guess you can say I haven't really broken it in. Hopefully that's the case.
This is by far Adidas best basketball shoe to date. You get the cushion of the Crazy explosive in the heel and the crazylight feel in the forefoot which is Perfect. Superb traction and amazing all around comfort from the soles of your feet to up around the ankle area. D Rose is definitely going to be back in MVP form because of this shoe. It isn't the highest priced bball shoe for no reason...
