They are very comfy and nice casual shoes. A little large. And I even went a size smaller than I usually go. But most adidas shoes seem to run large. Overall I really like these shoes and their unique design
i loved the pattern - it was very fashion forward. however, the material was so stretchy that it felt more like a sock attached to the sole. unfortunately i need more support on the sides when i run. was worried my toe would puncture the fabric within weeks. i recommend this product for others but not for my particular need.
The purpose of this appraisal is to evaluate the Adidas Ultra Boost running shoe based on three criteria. These criteria include comfort, durability, and performance. With the latest technology integrated into their product, Adidas claims that the Ultra Boost is currently the best running shoe on the market. Therefore, the targeted market for this product is frequent runners (~30 miles per week). Comfort When looking for a running shoe, comfort is my main priority. I define comfort as the ability to go on a 10 mile run without feeling any discomfort. The Adidas Ultra Boost integrates one of its newest technologies, Boost, into the sole of the shoe. The Boost sole literally feels like you’re walking on a cloud. It is extremely responsive and you feel the material squish with every step. This helps to minimize the negative impact that running has on your joints. Unfortunately, I did notice that the shoe fits very narrow. If you are someone with wider feet, you might want to find a wider shoe. After wearing the Adidas Ultra Boost for multiple runs and feeling no discomfort in my feet, I can confidently say that the comfort of the Ultra Boost is top-of-the-line and ideal for frequent runners. Durability Since the Adidas Ultra Boost is relatively expensive ($180), most users are going to want to get their money’s worth. I define durability as a shoe that can remain in good condition for 6 months while running 30 miles per week. In my experience, I have went on 10 mile runs every other day for four months, and the shoes have shown minimal signs of wear. The tread on the bottom of the shoe is still fresh, resulting in a great grip between the shoe and the terrain. Based on what I have already experienced, I expect this great condition to continue for the next several months. Therefore, the Adidas Ultra Boost is great in terms of durability for frequent running. Performance I rate the performance of a running shoe based on its support and grip. The upper part of the Adidas Ultra Boost is constructed out of Primeknit, a formfitting material that adapts to the natural curvature of the foot. Primeknit provides a snug, sock-like fit, ensuring that your foot is well supported. The Continental rubber outsole is made from the same material as automobile tires—ensuring the best grip in wet and dry conditions. The performance of the Adidas Ultra Boost is unmatched by other shoes. After a thorough evaluation of the Adidas Ultra Boost, I can see why Adidas claims to have created the best running shoe. The Ultra Boost has excelled in comfort, durability, and performance, making it an ideal shoe for frequent runners. I highly suggest purchasing this shoe, and I hope you have the same positive experience that I’ve had.
I like this shoes, look very good,i like black color,i wear woman size 7; this shoe i wear size 5; little small but because it is soft it felt good; 5 1/2 would be best for me but they did not have this size.
The shoe is fantastic. I would say durability is an issue, but that is the same as literally any shoe on the market today. Yes the outside will fray, no it didn't affect me at all and I am a crossover, quick guard. Traction was great overall, not perfect but great. Cushion is fantastic, despite what others here have said, this is the softest of the boost set-ups and its phenomenal. The prime knit is also great, and the inner bootie compliments it greatly. The fit is great, best fitting Adidas shoe in a long time. I didn't get any blisters or cuts, but I wear long socks always. Also this shoe will fit an ankle brace better than any other shoe. Overall could the shoe have been more durable? Sure, but no shoe really is anymore. It is a great buy and I will be looking forward to picking up a couple of extra pairs of the Crazy Explosive.
The cleats are absolutely wonderful. The upper is soft, and the three stripes on the sides hug your feet nice and tight. One of the things I loved was the studs, they allow me to change direction in any way with a lot of confidence. The collar is also at a very good height. The NSG is also a plus, as the little-raised dots give a great sensation. My only complain is that the yellow shoes get dirty on turf quickly, which I should have avoided by buying a different colour. Overall, you cannot find a boot of this caliber for this price anywhere else.
The Ultra Boosts are great shoes with two critical flaws in my experience (if you are using them as running shoes): 1) Primeknit durability, and 2) sockliner quality. 1) Primeknit durability: Within a few months of use, the Primeknit upper (which is super comfortable, btw) started to fray on the outside of the left foot. A month later, there was a visible hole that got bigger with each run. The shoes will soon be retired to "around the house" wear as my pinky toe is starting to poke out of the shoe. Suboptimal performance for a shoe at this price point. 2) Sockliner quality: After a few runs, I noticed that the balls of my feet would hurt after a mile or so. I took out the sockliner, compared it to the sockliner in my Energy Boost 2s, and noticed that the Energy Boost had a much thicker sockliner. I put those in my Ultra Boosts and the problem went away - I'd recommend doing something similar if you get these, but adidas should consider a redesign to address the issue. Overall impression: great shoe for everyday wear, good running shoe with some critical flaws, and recommend with some hesitation.
This product is amazing. They fit so nicely around the top of your ankle and every step you take is like your walking on water. Their performance while running is also amazing making your feet feel very light and the bottom bounces off the ground.
So happy with my purchase! They are so comfy it feels like I'm slipping on a pair of socks on my feet not sneakers. They are true to size and stretchy for extra comfort due to the knit material. Probably ideal to keep these prettys away from puddles and general wet weather.
Ordered my normal size (8) and they were slightly big so returned and got 7 1/2 and they fit perfect. I've heard adidas run a tad big so I will keep that in mind for future buys. Really comfortable shoe but does tend to rub my heel. Wouldn't recommend them to run in. I just bought them for style not functionality.
Very comfortable and surprisingly supportive. Defintely the best basketball shoe I've ever worn. The PK upper takes absolutely zero break in time. I thought the 4 point lace system was not going to work, but is executed perfectly and keeps you locked in. Heel counter also keeps you from feeling any heel slippage - something I experienced with the Crazylight Boost Low 2016s. Full-length Boost is definitely felt throughout for maximum comfort. As for the outsole, it's not Continental, but it works. I felt no experience of slipping or sliding during hard cuts. Overall the shoe is very low profile and you can feel every millimeter of your foot on the court. No rocking or rollover sensation. I think adidas hit a home-run with the Crazy Explosive PK. Price point is awesome and, in my opinion, a great valued, best bang for your buck basketball shoe.
Perfection -- I've worn the original Ultraboost or the UltraboostST in my past three marathons. Something made be decide to try #uncaged. BEST. SHOE. EVER. Has everything the others do in cushion but my entire foot has truly found its happy place -- also affords much better opportunity for ankle flexion ... same sole as the other models which do fine in rain (e.g. BOS 2015). I'm sure I'll have to get a pair in red too!
These have got to be the most comfortable basketball shoes I have ever worn. The primeknit and inner booty (Geofit) is like a nice form fitting sock for your feet. It actually grooves to the shape of your feet over time. The boost is hands down the best cushion in the market right now and is plush and bouncy. These really are the ultra boost of the basketball shoe line up. Lockdown is great in this shoe.. No heel slippage and my toes did not smash into the toe box like how it does in the D Rose 7. As for fit, the fit is true to size. It works well for people with wide feet. If you actually feel the outer sole, such as when you wipe dust off, you'll notice just how wide these shoes are. Now here is the biggest issue with what could have been the greatest basketball shoe to date. The durability of the outer sole is really REALLY bad. Very poor quality. Ive been playing in these for about two weeks and I only play indoors on wood floor. There are already major signs of wear and tear, some parts of the heel area have already completely ripped off. There are like two other reviews that say this and show pictures, and I believe those two guys play indoors as well. I already feel the traction fading away and im sure in another few weeks it may even be bald. Overall, these are awesome shoes and definitely the most comfortable on the market right now. Everything was perfect except the durability of the outsoles. If Adidas used a different rubber compound and used the traction pattern of the D Rose 7 on these Crazy explosives then we have a clear hall of fame basketball shoe. My advice - don't even think about playing with these outside. Almost perfect, almost.
I bought my first pair of dooms in triple-black and had absolutely loved them, this shoe catch's a lot of peoples eyes and makes people look at your feet Lol, I loved the black ones that I had to get the white ones and white looks even better.
Great looking shoe. Very comfortable in the toe area. I wear adidas superstars all the time and they fit perfect. I bought these in the same size as a my superstars but the crazylight boost 2.5 are extremely tight on the top of my foot behind the toes and in the heel area. They seem to fit a little better as they are breaking in.
I love the touch on the ball with these boots. I will say they are a little tight on the top of the foot, but I'm sure it will loosen up over time. It actually means I don't have to tie my shoes as tightly as possible for once which is nice. The boots are very comfortable and are worth every penny.
I was really sad because after only wearing two times the material on the prime knit on the toe box of the shoe stretched. I didn't even snag it and now it just looks really ugly because there is a big HOLE from the prime knit material and very noticeable because the shoe is white (probably wouldn't be so bad on a dark shoe like black. Very upsetting for a $180 shoe.
I've had these shoes for two weeks and I've been complimented on them atleast 20 times. Random people walking up to me. Love them! Adidas run about 1-1.5 sizes large so I got an 8. I wear a 9.5. When I put them on I thought they would be too tight... They stretched out perfectly within one wear.
I like the looks of these sneakers (Ultra Boost ST). But that's it. I to a couple people here and a friend that for Adidas. They all thought that these would work for me. I work all nite on a concrete floor and my feet hurt bad. And my knees to. I'm a big person. So I bought these for only work. tried them last nite. I made it for about 3 1/2 hours and to go back to my old sneakers. The Ultra Boost ST's end up not really helping. No arch support. I am very disappointed. For what they cost and the way I was told I expected more from them.
It's not been a year since I bought these shoes and the sole has cracked of both the shoes. I have a back problem so I needed shoes with extra cushion, I don't run I just walk and they couldn't sustain even a year. Spending $192 for 10 months is not justifiable. i don't know how long will they last for the people who run.
Unlike all the hypebeasts out there I actually run in these, with that said I can say that these are the most comfortable running shoes I have ever had. very comfortable. They also give you that spring in your step you need for running. 10/10
I have a different color pair for each day of the week. I am not even kidding. Some for dress and some for hard wear. Hands down this is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. For anything. Boost tech is incredible. Mix in the Primeknit upper and it becomes better yet.
This is my favorite shoe of all time because of comfort and aesthetics BUT for 180$ they wear out very fast I'm not even running in them and after one day of just waliking at school I had parts of the sole That were all worn out and flat PLEASE MAKE OUTSOLE MORE DURABLE!!
When I tried these on at a running store, I decided to buy them even though they were heavier than I wanted because I was told they would last for more miles because of the rubber outersole and UB cushioning. I was very disappointed that at after 3 months of wear that the rubber sole has worn off the back outside rim of each shoe. My normal running shoes last longer than that. Whil The shoes are good for running and fit like a glove, but I would have opted for lighter, less expensive option if knew they were going to last the same amount of time.
Boots are great really like the primknit but the sizing is a litte large, and since the primeknit collar does not go all way up your ankle, I had some heel slippage which causes some pretty bad blisters on my heel. Also the break in period in general is pretty rough, as there were a couple spots on the toe that pinched and caused some blisters.
