I just realized that my favorite running shorts were some 10 year old Adidas supernovas. These response shorts are a cool complement, same fit as my old shorts, same color, and with the three lines in the back as a bonus. I rarely train with a water belt so the pocket is perfect for that gel or two on my 20k+ long runs.
I train for kickboxing and require compression shorts under my fighting gear and no one wants to have poor fitting shorts sliding around. These stay in place, breath nicely and absorb sweat like a sponge. They also last, I only bought a second pair to have an alternate pair since I wear them almost every day. I have tried other brands but adidas is the way to go.
Super soft, I couldn't decide whether to buy these, or another pair of nike pro shorts like I always do. I'm so glad with my choice to get the boy shorts because they're super breezy, and comfortable. The also hug your curves nicely.
I was pretty skeptical at first because I have a hard time wearing tight shorts. But not only did they fit great (and were true to size), but they look good on me too. The ride up a little bit when I run, but they are perfect for my strength training days.
I originally tried these for the first time when my school used them as part of my uniform for volleyball. After the first time I wore them, I fell in love! They are so comfortable and they fit me perfectly! I already ordered 2 pairs so that I could have some of my own!
The shorts are very well designed. It has a wide waist band, which accommodates a pocket that you can slip your car key or tiny personal alarm, or a pound coin (not big enough for a phone). The fabric is comfortable with movement, especially on the inner thigh, and it keeps you dry and cool in the balmy summer evenings we've had.
These shorts are good looking, a great length and lightweight. If you need white soccer shorts these are very good quality. This is the lightest fabric Adidas offers and it is a bit see through, but so are every other white pair we've tried.
These shorts are as attractive in person as they are online. They are lightweight, comfortable, and breathe very well. They are great for sports because THEY DO NOT HAVE POCKETS. If you are looking for something with pockets, do not look in a sports section because almost all sports require clothing without pockets for safety reasons.
I have just bought 2 pairs of these shorts, the others are the black ones and they are a really comfortable, lightweight short for running in. I would not hesitate to buy other pairs in different colours if they were available
These are amazing as far as comfort & feel. However, as far as the crotch goes. Horrible. I'm not wearing them tight. I usually wear a small and the small fit great. However, they "look" horrible. They outline all the parts if you know what I mean.
These are my favorite shorts I work out in them, do yard work in them, wear them around the house or to the store. They are super comfortable keep you dry when you sweat. I purchased them last year at Kohls and I bought 2 pair, love them so much I have been trying to buy more and have been unable to find them until I decided to try this website and I found them. So happy I just ordered another pair!
These are amazing shorts! The stretchy wide waistband is so comfortable and the inner draw cord helps them stay put. The waist also hits at a perfect spot if you don't have a perfectly flat stomach. The material is very light and breathes very well. I also appreciate the 4" inseam I hate tugging down my shorts when I'm running. These shorts do seem to run slightly large; my old Adidas shorts are mediums and the small fit perfectly in these shorts (5'6" 138,lbs, 35" hips 27 1/4 " natural waist). It's not in the description but it's nice to note that these have an inner brief. Hope they make these in more colors!!
These shorts, especially compared to the 5-inch Techfit shorts, are a bit too short. They would be good for volleyball players and to wear under shorts, when you didn't want anyone to see them. Otherwise, they need a few more inches to be comfortable working out in them alone.
The fit is just right. After a wear or two, it's perfect. I wish the length was about 0.5" longer, but I prefer this to other "long" shorts I have from competitor companies and to the Techfit 3-inch version.
I bought these in Michigan while on holidays as women football shorts are non-existent in Australia. I absolutely loved them the moment I tried them on, the sizing fits true and its the perfect length for football. They are very light and don't bunch like the mens football shorts I have. PLEASE SELL THESE IN AUSTRALIA :)
I wear these in navy/white and black/white all the time for soccer practice, training, and cross country. These are a great length, neither too short nor too long. There also wasn't any awkward bunching. The waistband was very comfortabe.
I really wanted to like these, because I always wear shorts with long liners. The shorts themselves are great, light and airy, dried quickly, cool. But the liners....ugh. Formless and not very good at containing things. I was constantly tugging and pulling them up, then pulling them down. Geez, Adidas, did a real guy try these on before you started making them? Anyway, true to size, but only a C+. Wearable but not all that great. Don't think I'll buy another pair. Too bad.
Fit is good. I like the waistband where it is, right on my waist. Shorter than I might like but after wearing them find that they are long enough. Use for weight training, walking, around the house on hot summer days.
I don't love this style of waistband but it is fairly comfortable however I was constantly pulling down the legs as they rode up A LOT. The purpose of buying a 5" inseam was to NOT have the exposure, didn't work.
All I needed was a plain white pair of shorts for football. These shorts are well made, strong fabric for slide tackles and so far appear not to stain. The elastic and draw string is real quality, and they're just light enough not to get in the way while playing sports.
I have bought these shorts because I love the Adidas Response range. They are a good quality short, fit great and a very comfortable. Great for running, gym, lounging around in the sun or tale on holiday. Hope there are more colours. Find the men's range of running gear can be quite boring. But love these shorts. Will be getting the black ones.
I'm 5'11 but only 124 lbs, I prefer small for bottoms and usually my shorts ride low because of my weight but these ride up a lot. I had to buy compression shorts for these so I wouldn't show anything unnecessary. I wear these for running, volleyball and basketball, so 3-4 days a week for multiple hours. They're soft and they never get heavy from the sweat my legs produce. They stay nice and cool as well, plus they hold up really well after a wash, their color is still as good as new. Besides the fact that they ride up (not as in the crotch giving you a wedgy, but the waistline just likes to rise), I would recommend these shorts. The blue and black shorts are good colors, probably going to get the green ones next as it's my school color. I tried to upload some pictures so you could see the color and fit of the small on my body frame, but the pictures are kind of blurry.
These shorts tend to be a little tight in the crotch area which is my main complaint. Also some of the lighter colors tend to show VPLs too easily. The best colors to avoid that are the black and dark grey. They are form fitting and very short, so if you're uncomfortable with your butt being out these are definitely not for you. They're very comfortable for running but after a few minutes I usually have to pull them back down as they start to roll up too much. I personally love that it hugs my muscles and curves but I imagine that someone with longer legs than me might find these way too revealing. (I'm only 5'2" and very petite)
These shorts are absolutely amazing when on the pitch. Played a game in nearly 90°+ and they held true and kept me cool. They do run a little small, as in above the knee but non the less have plenty of room for fluid motion. If you have an issue with tight fitting shorts with your regular size, (e.g I'm 5,10 and M and they are a bit snug without adjusting the waistband) go ahead and order a size up. Hope this review was helpful.
I had the older Striker shorts and they were fairly perfect for me, but this new design is completely different and not suited to short(er) guys anymore. The crotch is too long and the wide waistband is uncomfortable. If you are 5'11" + these are probably fine for you.
