I had to play around to get the sizing right and the shoes did rub my ankles a little at first, but once they were broken in, they were fine. I have high arches so lightweight shoes are hard for me to wear. So I really liked the arch support and the weight of these shoes a lot. I purchased them either in Jan or Feb and just noticed today that the bottoms are pretty worn through. I've run 2 5Ks, 2 10Ks, and usually run at least 5 miles a week, so these shoes have gotten a lot of use, but i'm still replacing them a solid 5-11 months sooner than I've ever replaced any other pair. That's something to keep in mind if your mileage is heavy!
Possibly the most comfortable shoes I've ever had on my feet, whether for basketball or not. Boost is awesome but unfortunately they come with a tissue paper thin insole. And seeing as how the cushion thins out at the ball of the foot, I recommend putting a thicker one in if you decide to buy. Biggest problem however is the traction. Initially it's incredible, not very squeaky but the pattern makes it incredible nonetheless. But then after about three weeks of strictly indoor play it starts to fray and goes downhill fast. Now I can pretty much expect to slide. Hopefully there'll be a version in the future with a more durable traction but until then it's not worth $150.
The style is quite impressive but the comfortability in the shoe is quite comfortable... it feels as if most of the time I'm barefooted ! the only thing is i wish the continental tires at the sole of the foot would last a bit longer than it does.
This is my third year buying Adidas energy and adios boost - I am an elite athlete logging in high conditioning and Sprint kms as well as agility, adidas out performs all the other brands that I have tried in durability and endurance - I am excited that the adios has the contenential tread (will last even longer) !!! Thanks for making a superior shoe with competitive prices
These shoes and I don't pair well. This shoe is comfortable enough to walk in, but that's about it. First, I am a pretty true 6.5 when is comes to sneakers, this fit slightly short where my big toe would rub a tad against the top of the shoe with any forward movement. The boost "technology" is awesome If you're looking for a shoe with lots of cushion and bounce. I guess for me I look for a shoe that sits a little closer to the ground so I can have more stability. The gap at the bottom of the arch also contributes to that feeling of lack of stability. My feet end up hurting and feeling achy after wearing these for a gym session. I also tried doing a short run and these just killed my feet.
BEST SHOE EVER! Love using this shoe for short runs, weight lifting and doing bootcamp style workouts. Your foot feels amply supported around the foot; like it's being hugged! The boost cushioning is super springy and responsive which is great for jumping!
I have two pairs of the Ultra Boost and both have torn in the exact same spot. I have worn each pair a maximum of 10 times to work (nothing strenuous) and neither held up to simple walking. Very disappointed.
The shoes are super comfortable. Like walking on a cloud. The bad news is the heal seam placement has rubbed a substantial blister on my foot. I fixed this issue by wearing thicker, longer socks but it shouldn't have been an issue in the first place with such expensive shoes.
I wanted a lightweight pair of shoes for just running around in. My regular running shoes are just too bulky. These are perfect. I have wide feet and because of the sock like fit, they work perfectly. The backs come up too high on my ankle, but I just rolled them down a bit and it stays. I love the way it wraps my arch. I have plantar fasciitis and wear orthotics in my running shoes, but I can walk all day without pain in these. I tried a little run in them, but I need more cushion in my running shoes. I wouldn't hesitate wearing them to Disneyland all day though. I have the cute floral pair and I now need to buy another more neutral pair to wear with more things.
I have a callus on the ball of my right foot which might be painful especially during running and I need a running shoes with a good support . I was really happy with my previous shoes the ULTRA BOOST ST running shoes, but after using them for more than 400 miles only running, I had to get new running shoes to prevent myself from injury. I tried the ULTRA BOOST UNCAGED running shoes and they felt really comfortable. I am enjoying my runs as well and not complaining at all. It is slighty tight from the top and it is leaving some marks on the skin of the foot, but rather than that is is very comfortable.
Although the traction grooves were shallow, the patten held up and worker fine. Full length boost is the best cushion setup around, and is a bit bouncier than the CL Boost 2016 boost. The primeknit is stretchy and comfortable, with no glue getting in the way. The fit and support is very good, due to the good lacing system and interior features of the shoe.
Great shoe, but I had a major problem. The shoe gave me a horrible cut/blister near my ankle from the inner padding. Was bothering me while playing but not too bad. But after the cut was to painful for me to walk around comfortably for a few days. Everything else about the shoe is PERFECT. Materials are awesome. Cushion is the best ever. My knees felt like I hadn't even played. However, the blister I got was so bad I never tried them again and will be returning them. Shame, might just be an issue with me and my foot, but personally it was still an issue. Maybe just bad luck.
As someone who works out 5 out of 7 days, that has begun to impement 2-3 miles into my daily routine i have tried and disliked a multitude of shoes..from flyknits to prestos to air max to metcons...after trying these on my search is over. these are BY FAR the most comfortable running shoes I have ever worn. Already ordering a pair for my girlfriend!
Great shoe. Fit the exact same as the regular Ultra Boost. However, the back of the collar (the part that touches your Achilles tendon), tends to wear into my skin and cause open wound blisters. Not a fan of that at all. Great styling however.
I have a normal foot. I wear all kinds of shoes. The Ultra Boost is unnecessarily tight over the top of foot and in the toe box. I was excited but my heart sank. No dice for the Ultra Boost, and the Ultra Boost Uncaged looks terrible, so no reason to even try it on.
One of the best running shoes ever! I felt I could keep going. Only thing, Don't wear no show socks after 11 mile run. With the top being socklike it rubs the back side of my foot. Easy fix, higher socks. Plus I have narrow feet so if you have a larger foot it will be snug fit.
My first Utra Boost and I am pleasantly surprised. I have been trying it out now for a little over 2 weeks and this shoe lives up to the hype of most comfortable shoe. Nice silhouette, the boost is plush and the upper hugs around your foot. I wear them casually but these can be used for running. The heal cup prevents your foot from slipping of the foot bed and you can use the laces for a better lock down. I would definitely recommend these!
I have gotten the D Rose 7 Multi-Color about a week ago. Great shoe, the design is uniquely Adidas. A bit narrow though for my foot, as I heard. So, when I bought them, I got .5 bigger, size 13.5. Got extra space for my big toe, but was still narrow and a bit tight around my foot. Feels comfortable on the court, haven't played a full court performance game yet, but just running and shooting. Cushion in shoe gives the boost in leaping ability, and no pain in take off. Make sure to wear right performance socks with this shoe. Grip of shoe on court still needs a bit work like all the other D Roses, but still good. Can't wait to see Derrick Rose play in them this NBA season on the Knicks.
This shoe is interesting. It looks great in pictures but in reality, the material on the toe box - that reverse-studded neoprene - looks cheap in person. This shoe's sole is very comfortable BUT it is a bit narrow for a size 9 (what I normally wear). It also has terrible breathability. Upon closer inspection, some of the the dimples on the polyester are actual perforations but the majority are not. This shoe becomes an oven very quickly. The material on the back of the shoe (the white) is very nice. Overall, shoe is disappointing since it looks and feels worse than what I'd expect from adidas.
These shoes are honestly amazing. The fit, comfort, and ride are all perfect and these shoes are amazingly comfortable. One gripe that I do have though, is that they're slightly flimsy. In fact, my cage tore within a week of wearing these shoes. So, watch out for the durability because these should last much longer, considering the price tag
Go 1/2 size up (common for Adidas) and you will never buy a different type of shoe in your life. These are literally the MOST COMFORTABLE shoes I have ever worn. Ever. No exaggeration here. When I have a lot of errands to run around town, sometimes I don't want to walk anywhere; then I put these on and...WOW. Everything seems easier. Plus, I use them as everyday shoes, and I have received more compliments on them than any other article of clothing I've ever owned--by FAR (I bought the red/white). Strangers walk up to you just to talk about them! I can't even count the number of people who have asked about them. And every time they do, I give them a whole spiel about how great they are. HIGHLY recommended!!!
I wore these shoes for 2-1/2 months a couple of times a week. They "Continental" Rubber soles are almost worn out. I only walk, I do not run in these shoes. For this price I would think I should get much more mileage out of this shoe. I love the feel and fit, however I would need to buy 5 pairs to get me thru a year. I'm not a happy camper.
Don't get me wrong I love these shoes. They look great, and they are the most comfortable shoes I have tried, my issue with the shoes is that wearing them cause me serious knee pains, which I'm glad to report that after a few days not wearing the shoes it gets better. But as soon as I wear them again the pain is back.. I am not sure whether it is an issue with my pair of shoes,This could be just affecting me, but it makes me not able to wear them anymore.
Sock like fit, get 1/2 size bigger than your normal size, after you wear it for a while, it gets a bit loose and really comfy, I wear this for running as well as just casual shoes, sometimes I think they're even better than UB, but these 2 models are on topof my rotation.
These uncaged UB's are extremely comforfortable!! It's like wearing a super cushioned sock. The primeknit just hugs your foot, and allows freedom of movement when you need it. I won't be doing any running in them, but it probably won't be a problem if you wanted to. I would suggest going a half sized down in these, since there isn't a great deal of padding around the ankles.
