mi adizero 5-Star Low Custom Cleats Good upgrade from the 2.0
January 15 2014

Considering that I had the 2.0's before these, I love these cleats. Some of the problems from the 2.0 for me was the tongue and the stiffness around the achilles. Now they have a softer cushion-like material so it no longer leaves discomfort or cuts on my feet. The surface of the shoe is also an upgrade. ... read more

Adizero Boston 5 Shoes Great addition to Boost Lineup
October 18 2014

I have owned 2 pairs of the Energy Boosts and LOVED these shoes as hands down the best and most durable neutral trainers I've found. I wanted to get a distance racing or tempo shoe with Boost, but wanted just a little more cushion than the Adios. Along comes the Boston 5 , and I was definitely not disappointed by this shoe. It's got a lighter, firmer and slightly lower to the ground feel than the Energy Boost, but is not lacking in cushioning whatsoever with distance up to 15 miles so far. As I said, great addition! ... read more

mi adizero 5-Star Low Custom Cleats Excellent
June 05 2014

I play competitive ultimate frisbee and are pretty hard on cleats. These are surprisingly comfortable and crazy light. I've burned through a lot of cleats but these are definitely here to stay for me. Only gripe is they did start to tear after one season which is a bit earlier than I would have liked. Adidas excellent customer service however was there to help out on the second pair. I'll buy these from now on hands down ... read more

Adizero Boston 5 Shoes Good shoe but...
December 23 2014

I got these last week as an early Christmas present. So far I've put 24 miles on them. The bottom of the shoe is great. The boost foam makes it cushioned but it is still responsive and light and the traction on roads is phenomenal. However, I'm not very happy with the upper. The toe box is quite narrow, the length is good (I ordered a size 11) but the D width is really freakin' tight. Also, why Adidas chose to make the toe of the shoe out of felt is beyond me. I've had to put a lubricant on my toes to stop them from rubbing against the shoe and each other. I hope that Adidas fixes the upper on this shoe because it is a dang good running shoe. ... read more

mi adizero 5-Star Low Custom Cleats Great product
April 13 2014

Much better than the 2.0 which were tight and hard to break in. The material at the front and back of the cleat is much more forgiving when quickly stopping and going. I've had the 1.0,2.0, and now the 3.0's and they are my favorite. I ordered a half a size bigger than I normally do and they fit great. ... read more

Adizero Boston 5 Shoes Most comfortable running shoe I've ever worn
January 04 2015

For me, the sizing is always tricky with Adidas shoes. I went up a full size in these. Normally wear a 9.5, tried on a 10 and it was too tight, 10.5 is just right. From the very first moment these shoes felt GREAT on my foot. I usually use that as a gauge for buying running shoes. As a 43 year old who has sustained many injuries over the years, I like softer running shoes. These are the best of both worlds, IMO, because the boost sole provides a very soft landing (I do all my runs on pavement/concrete) but the shoes still have plenty of "pop" for when you up the tempo. At 10mm, the heel-to-toe drop is a bit higher than I prefer (I like 6mm or 8mm) but I don't scrape my heels in these shoes because of the way the heel is shaped, there is a slitght "upturn" to it that works with my midfoot stride. I have also learned that it is not all about static drop. Drop is really dynamic, especially if you are a midfoot to light heel striker like me. A soft heel, which this shoe has, flattens out more when weighted during footstrike. I also have Saucony Triumph 12 (ISO), which are marketed as cushioned shoes. While they ARE soft, I find the Boost soles even softer and more comfortable. I think the Solar Red looks awesome. Great color. I will definitely buy another pair of these shoes. ... read more

mi adizero 5-Star Low Custom Cleats These should've been my first cleats!!!
August 22 2014

I'm an amateur player from the UK, so I have only owned 1 other pair of cleats from another company, but I decided to get a pair of these cleats moving into the 2015 season, & I gotta say, these are fantastic! Although the mi adidas cleats doesn't have the sprint web technology, the overall design still holds to the foot real well. Tight, but not too tight! The sprintframe is light & low to the ground, which suits my running style perfectly, as if they're made for me! When I put them on, I don't want to take them off! I play free safety, but these cleats are great for any speed position!!! Im buying another pair, just because!!!!! ... read more

April 11 2014

Not like the other adi zeros. It actually feels like a real thicker cleat, even though it's thin. Super durable too. I got them for the all American army combine so they've been true and tested. Traction is solid as well. ... read more

Adizero Boston 5 Shoes Great shoe!!
March 25 2015

I have had 2 pairs. The first pair I put 450 miles on them. I've run in the in just about every weather condition this winter and they held up great. On my second pair I've just ran a full marathon. I will have to agree when I first got the shoe. I thought the construction might fall apart but after all the miles on them and also being wet a good amount of the time. I would recommend these shoes to everyone that has the right foot type. ... read more

mi adizero 5-Star Low Custom Cleats Great shoes, but had insole problems.....
August 20 2014

I have had multiple pairs of the Adizero fooball cleats over the years and they have all been great. However, I had a problem with this pair as the insole was moving around inside of the shoe when cutting during football practice. The insole ended up on the side of the shoe rather than below my foot. There does not seem to be enough friction between the bottom of the insole and the baseplate of the shoe to hold it in place when cutting side-to-side. Hopefully this will get resolved for future models. ... read more

Adizero Boston 5 Shoes Superb running shoes
January 24 2015

Fantastic running shoes and not only: I've been walking around in them every day since they arrived and they feel great. Very light and responsive yet not too springy. I ordered one half size up from my usual size and they fit perfectly. The outsole seems durable enough and shows no sign of wear so far so I hope I will be walking and running in these fantastic shoes for a very long time. ... read more

My son LOVES these shoes. He had the 2.0 and wore them our but wouldn't stop wearing them. He played with tape around the front until these new ones arrived! He swears they are like walking on air. My younger son could not wear these. They are much too narrow for a wider foot. Too bad. He really wanted to keep them but couldn't. ... read more

Adizero Boston 5 Shoes Incredible Shoe if they fit
July 30 2015

I have fairly narrow feet and purchased these at size 10 based on my experience with the Boston 4s 9.5 being just too small on my left foot. In other brands, size 9.5 fits best. Unfortunately, my feet felt like they were losing circulation as soon as I put these on, as they are very narrow. I was wearing thin socks. The construction, lightness, airyness, and boost mid soles were all things I was looking for, so I was sad to have to return them. I'm now interested in the adios boost, and will try them on to see if they fit a little wider. I'm also getting more used to lower heel drops, and would have happily used the Boston 5s for my recovery runs and longer runs, had they not been too narrow. ... read more
