adidas, one of the global leaders in the sporting goods industry, opened its largest brand store in Africa in partnership with Planet Sport as part of an aggressive expansion plan in Morocco and Africa. Located in Rabat at Square Boulevard Fal Ould Ommeir and street Abou Bakr Seddik - Agdal - Rabat, the new brand store has been months in the making and commands a floor space of 500 square meters. Housing both adidas’ Performance and Originals ranges, it will ensure the capital’s passionate sports fans and street-style lovers get the right products to perform in - and look - their best.
adidas currently has more than 50 stores across Africa, with three being in Morocco. Since 2010, adidas and Planet Sport have been strategic partners and together they plan to collaborate further to open more stores in the coming years.

Fashion meets football with limited edition boot inspired by Japanese culture
adidas have teamed up with award-winning Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto, the man behind the adidas Y-3 fashion brand, to launch the limited edition Yohji Yamamoto adizero f50 boot.
The collaboration between adidas and the well-known designer marks the latest in a line of special edition football boots, following on from the successful release of the White Copa Mundial and “Enlightened” reflective football boots in recent weeks.
Only 2,000 pairs of the visually striking f50s will be available globally, with just 25 of those pairs making their way to the UAE. The limited edition Yohji Yamamoto adizero f50 boots will only be available at the adidas performance store in Mall of the Emirates as of Monday October 28th giving football enthusiasts in the region a chance to be one of the elite few to own a pair.
