Training for two

Training never gets boring. I love it so much. I guess playing two sports helps because we do so many different types of training sessions.
For most, starring in just one sport would be a dream come true, but for Ellyse Perry, two seemed like a better fit. At just 21, Ellyse is the youngest athlete, male or female, to represent Australia in both cricket and football World Cups.

With the two sports overlapping, Ellyse trains for both during the seasons, but actually enjoys the variation. “Training never gets boring. I love it so much. I guess playing two sports helps because we do so many different types of training sessions. But it’s never boring because I always think there’s opportunity there, in a session, to learn and to get better and that really excites me.”
