What’s your favourite spot/location to be active?
I would have to say this is harder to answer than the meaning of life, but deep in a river gorge on top of a nice 40ft waterfall with a difficult entry, warm water and the excitement of the unknown ahead.

How do you prepare for a project/contest?
I am lucky to be able to be on the river every day apart from when I traveling between countries to the next destination. I like to make sure I am having fun and ready to be able to deal with any situation that might occur whether it be swimming a big rapid or paddling with half a paddle it will all help when it all turns bad. As well as that before a big trip I like to make sure I have had a solid fix of McDonalds to keep me going when it gets tough.

What are your biggest accomplishments?
My Biggest accomplishments have been winning the Adidas Sickline Extreme Kayak World Championship in 2010 and 2011. May it continue!

What are your next goals related to your sport?
Next Goal is to win the World Championship again in 2012 and to continue to live a life around the river.

Who do you look up to, who motivates you?
I look up to allot of people and I think it is good to have personal competition against your idols. I try to measure my kayaking against Steve Fisher, Mike Dawson and Evan Garcia. And as an athlete against Lance Armstrong and Kelly Slater. These guys have been at another level and to make your mark on your sport you have to be on another level.

Who is your favourite guy to hang out with/be active with?
I like to hang out with my brother; he and I get on well. Also a local kid that I live next to Ryan Lucas, he is always entertaining to paddle with and is good to help fire myself up to run some big drops or rapids.
