French Girl Emmeline Ragot is a true star of Downhill racing and one of the best female MTB riders. She is double UCI DH World Champion and won those titles in the years 2009 and 2010. Furthermore she was the French DH Champion in 2003, 2006, 2008 and also European Junior Champion in 2003 and 2004. When Emmeline was first invited to a MTB club at the age of 12 nothing could stop her from taking the challenge. She experimented with different disciplines before she decided to be full on in downhill.

I only do things that I really enjoy, and that’s simply why I race and ride. Even though it’s my job these days, I still have the same feelings about racing my bike as I did when I started out more than 10 years ago. One problem I have is that I get bored easily, so luckily I have a pretty exciting job!
